I know. I'll try and watch a couple of games, but since they are in the Western Conference I might have to wait until they play a team in the Eastern Conference.
If anyone is interested, detailed link on how it's all going to go down for the Hub Cities!

Game on!
Leaf's vs Habs!
Great opening. If I see the vid anywhere I'll bring it over. It included all sports.
So far so good. I can get used to this. No one in the stands but they covered the seats with these cool covers. They have fan "noise" (better than the cut outs fans in b/ball) and horn blows when a goal is scored.
Stay in your bubbles guys and don't you dare go anywhere off limits!!!
Some nice shots of the Scotiabank Arena, the Toronto hub.

@Linds911 The Toronto Columbus game was pure playoff material never mind Round Robin. I was getting ready for bed. Last four minutes of the game, down 3-0 was madness! They scored one, then another, then I said, ok, I'm not going anywhere. I hope they can win it tonight.
Habs made it through. A team that shouldn't even be in the playoffs, but I'll take it. Fans were going back and forth, if they lost they'd get first pick and we want Alexis Lafrenière, it they win they have a chance at the SC but loose the first pick in the draft lottery.
I don't mind the way they have everything set up. I give major props to the NHL. They've thought of everything. If you're not looking at the TV it sounds like a normal game with the fan noise in the background.

Rangers get the first pick in the draft lottery. Congrats Rangers. I'm sure Alexis Lafrenière will be your first pick. At least he'll likely be in the Eastern Conference and I can watch those games.
I hope they don't do it this way ever again. Totally unfair IMHO.
ETA: I forgot the Kings get second pick. @Linds911

I'm searching all over for Carolina vs Boston and it's not on. Now I realize why, Tampa Bay vs Columbus is in the 4the OT!!!
That's the way it used to be, now they have that frustrating shoot out.
That's two full games and one period of hockey!

This is insane one minute left and they'll go to the fifth OT.
Well that's one drawback of having only two hubs to play in.

Hey @NHL, not to tattle but we were supposed to play at 8:00 and the @BlueJacketsNHL and @TBLightning won't get off the ice

@GuardianAngel So close to first!! Grr super unfair because all the teams now that get eliminated didn't even have a chance, should have waited until playoffs were over. Oh well better then 5th which is what we got last year I think? then again Kings drafted Drew Doughty 8th and my favorite Anze Kopitar 11th and they are still going strong for them.
That 5OT game omg!! I usually turn on the games halfway through and when I saw they were tied I was like ok there will OT maybe 2 and then...! Congrats to TB let's see how the next game will turn out.

@Linds911 IA about the draft lottery .
Drew Doughty is Canadian and is from @Sprite's neck of the woods.
In his junior he played for the Guelph Storm in his junior who plays against our local Junior's Niagara Ice Dogs. It's so exciting to watch the juniors, see them get drafted, then play in the NHL.
21 year old Nick Suzuki is in the same boat. From London, Ontario, played for the Guelph Storm, I saw him play a few times against our local juniors. He was drafted by Montreal and now in the NHL!! (I'm getting old!!)
