@HEA Today's ep felt too short or at least they didn't show enough content, cut a lot of Laura's date and same as CP. The producers still focusing on irrelevant footage, we didn't get to see all the talks at the CP besides Elora's short one and they cut their chats as well.

Thought Laura's date started off slow and shaky, has been a while since they had single date. The problem of her being guarded set the date with a different vibe and more serious tone. At the end, Laura saying she liked him was what he needed to hear, and imo it only strengthens what they have. Still feel like the flow wasn't there tonight in their date.

I am not sure florence is even in top 4 anymore. I think her cheating was a turn off for him.
I am not 100% with elora. I have this nagging feeling something will happen and she is the one florence called dirty monkey... unless it was said in the GD today?
once again, they hide tara, not much so we can still see her and settle her top 4 position, but not full force like elise and laura. For me this is a F1 tactic. They also give us a glimpse of elora, just like tara, to make sure that she is still "seen"

We still have 2 episodes to go before HTDs or is it 3 ?

Laura seems to be front and centre consistently since episode 1 so for that reason alone I place her as part of the F2.
As a "character" she is not endearing to me at all but clearly M likes her.

I think from what you guys are saying, they are not "selling" the love story with Laura. Which makes rooting for her as f1 boring and uninteresting.

IMO there would have to be some major shakeup for another credible
f2.

I did not see laura front and center since episode 7.... she was not even front and center from ep 3. We saw glimpses of her during RC, but we did not see/hear the RC rose and certainly no other chat during CP. So not sure where the front and center truly?

Everything is cut with laura. Normally during GD, we see chats with some of the girls, we saw none. only the aftermaths and it was only tara.

I realy do not see the love story with them. During her first date, she said herself (confirmed by matty) that she had a verbal diarrhea during their time on the boat, then they had fun painting which did not that long since matty said they had 5 minutes and then he struggled to kiss her but was "happy about it".

Then on the only QT we saw, they went on this freezing raining day on this empty boat, had this kids in 6-8 years/i do not want to be an old dad conversation, kiss and tease that he had some practice... done

now @chenny and @sprinte say that their date was heavily cut and it looked awkward at times. said she cared a lot... he said he did not expected she open up... kiss. end of date

I mean............... F1? really??? What did I miss???

I know the hidden F1 and all that jazz but this is more than hidden at that point, it is destroying something that could be cute and sweet if she is indeed F1... which I think she is not.

Anyway.. for me the front, center, hidden but not so hidden is tara. She is at every episode since her first date ep6.

I will repeat myself but for me matty had a slow burn late interest with tara but it took one conversation and a full day with her to fall for her. He said it clearly: I wanted to check on our second date if the chemistry we had was still there... now we know, WE CAN BUILD ON SOMETHING. that is a very clear message IMO that he is way advanced in his relationship with tara versus any other girls in the house. He cannot stop gushing how special she is........

However we have seen so many edits/script with leads who looked disinterested or less thrilled with their F1 and they were indeed F1. It sucks that we do not have more material. it is times like this that i miss SM to check their IG. The quietest on her IG is generally the one. Their bio on IG is also a sign.

I going to go ahead and say I will be shocked if Tara is F1. She is neither getting a regular F1 trajectory nor a hidden F1. JMO.
I do need to watch the last couple of episodes. But I will be shocked anyway.

I do get something "fishy" from Laura's edit - perhaps more like a Courtney last year ??? Or Peter from the US version. A reluctant contestant. IMO.
So while Laura for me is viable I am not convinced of F1. Too much drama if that makes sense.

I'm looking forward to towdays ep. I will be mad if it is TBC episode which I am totally expecting.

Laura's edit reminds me of Viarni's edit last season on NZ Bachelor. She was missing in action all the time, but we kept hearing that she was a threat. She was slow to open up and we learned that pretty much all their interactions at the cocktail party's were edited out.

I dneed didn't watch the nz season, except for epi1. I found that boring and didnt continue. So IDK how much of f1 Varnie they showed and what dates they had etc

My issue with Laura is she not only seems to be hesitant (like courtney) and but is getting
Into drama with others too much. For an f1. I dont get the feeling thats something matty would like. Jmo

I dont see her going missing.

my issue is that most of the time the F1 personality for NZ and AU look alike regardless if the lead is look alike too.

This time around I think Matty is looking for the mother of his kids which is a MAJOR difference versus the other leads who were looking for a GF/BF long term relationship.

I do not care if laura seems to fit the role of the GF... imo matty is looking for wifey/mother material and want to start his family like yesterday.

laura does not fit that. tara does.

but if laura is F1, then next season, I know which look and personality looking for....

But at this point he wouldn't know that. 

This season the editing has been absolutely horrible. They wasted so much time with Leah and Jen and their nastiness and left out all the important stuff about Matty and the relationships he was forming...or not.

It really makes me wonder what was going on behind the scenes. Usually when an edit is this wonky it is one of two things. Either the lead fell for someone right off the bat or the lead fell for nobody and they are messing with the edit to distract us from seeing the obvious.

I am not sure he was so deaf and blind. I am sure at this point some girls could not stop talking or he just asked how things were going at the mansion... some girls would always fall into the trap and tell.

i think we miss an option here... maybe he fell for someone very late or he changed his mind with somebody

So we have a different matty in PI .. check his hair and the way he is wearing the sleeves.

when he has messy hair, he looks very very tired.

I did not expect she would say that. I was hoping she would say something like that but to hear Laura says those words . It shows more than anything that she cares. Some people really need to take small steps.
