Bachelor Australia - Season 5 - Matty Johnson - SCaps - **NO SPOILERS**

Lets talk about Travelling SCs. Have you noticed any of the girls actually getting a SC with a different background or with a different look (hair, length of bangs) etc ?

The "tan" clues are of no use at all IMO. Sicne even Lisa had a PI where she looked very tanned but that PI is from the next episode 11 actually because of her clothes.

@nd4reality I have been working on PI but so far they used only 3 same background with some misplaced item and every time I think it is an after finale, I found one girl who left with the same misplaced.

I am also trying to figure it out when the PI were taped. so far a couple were taped later and inserted on earlier episodes. or same outfit cut and inserted on several episodes too.

but it would be nice if we could all work on teamwork.

those are so far the only PI I saw. The mixed yellow/pink have misplaced items, candles.

we saw elise next to Laura so she could be doing the PI...
then all the girls are not in the HELLO mode when they see matty coming
and also Simone is completely turned, maybe to see if elora is behind???
I am not sure I recognize this background at the mansion?
Florence is looking straight at Laura or Cobie I think. I wonder why she does and not turn to look at Matty?
I also wonder if Simone sleeve is lacy purple color and match the blowing kiss goodbye and if she decided to also leave?

Now... I am wondering who Florence talked about when she said on the teaser, florence said: she looks like an ugly monkey..... definitely not about laura kid picture....

and what did laura meant when she said: we are at a point where everyone is over at niceties (CP)

so I am wondering if as I said, Matty asked Tara to go to the secret garden.... which is a clear message to the girls: do not disturb us. That is the meaning Osher explained on episode 1 anyway.

The secret garden with lisa is not the same as what I think Tara. with tara, However, we have the sofa, table and tons of candles and a lot of xmas lights around. The settings looks different from other CP. Also the sofa is not the same style as where the girls are together.

mini skirt ... I think it is the QT after the GD. HOwever none of the girl have this kind of skirt. but some girls also changed into shorts. so one girl could also have changed again like they usually do for the after party.....

but what I notice is that it looks another place in the mansion's garden. we see again the xmas lights and the same candles used for the secret garden with lisa. so it happened at the mansion.

@HEA I agree, Laura seems to be on a different page to Matty in terms of their priorities in life. Laura seems fairly settled in her business life and focussed there, while Matty does ideally like to have kids in the next few years. She only said she would want kids in her SQT with Matty after the group date just to keep him at bay and stay in the game IMO.

Tara seems to have a very strong relationship with him and I'm excited to see more of her serious and mature side.

exactly. you are on point here.
I have seen men who have this internal kid clock. I believe it is not only a woman thing. Matty expressed himself pretty clear on his intro and with her: he does not want to be an old dad. He is 30. Laura is pushing 6-8 year ahead, which is 38 for him. 38 can be considered as an old dad? I think so. Tara is 27. So if we give them the 3-4 years to date and propose. that is a reasonable time for him to be a dad. Of course, if someone is in love, this person is ready to compromise but somehow I feel matty is a bit stubborn on this, and a bit selfish. HE wants. and HE wants asap.
There is nothing wrong if she does not want kids yet. not everyone is ready at the same time in life. But I really feel that matty is looking for the mother of his kids not a long term BF/GF. She came to promote her jewelry, that for me is quite obvious, so IMO, she is not ready to put her business aside and take care of a baby that needs a lot of attention and sacrifice to take care. It would take away her time to expand her business. Feasible, yes, but not at 100% imo.

I've been told that aussie do not marry before 30 and 30 is generally the age they get serious with marriage and kids. Is this correct?

no idea. she has slim legs but not a larger butt... so i would rule out elora, simone, florence, elise, tara..... cobie or lisa are petite enough. if laura got her 2nd date, that cannot be her

@HEA Yep absolutely, at least that is the trend that seems to be in today's society of settling down and getting married around 30, a later age. I find Matty is pretty much about to hit that stage of life and he will take his rightly so "selfish" decisions to heart and choose the woman he thinks will fulfil his life desires, and that is children.

I'm not sure if this idea of having fun and enjoying life while being young, then finding that lifelong partner nearing 30 is just here in Australia, is this the same all over the world?

I can talk only for France and Canada.
I think since the young people do stay longer at their parent's home, they have a long term GF/BF.
But a lot do settle and live together at around 25. kids around 27-30
it all depends if they want a master degree or if they are career oriented too
it also depend which background they are coming from I think
if they have money, they will marry later and have kids later.

but I am not THE expert on this. did not study about it ... this is a general observation around me
