I think we clearly saw Jake a lot, Courtney and Cam were very heavily featured as well Lee and Matty not so much. In fact Lee was clearly seen in one shot, the dirty dancing lift. The rest I.e his cycling SC and him jumping into the pool in spore were not identifiable at all.
In fact. Remember discussions of folk thinking that was Matty.

I obliterate GL season. I did not like her at all and the Georgia/Courtney was booooooooooooooooring. Plus again I did not get to see the F1 love story at all. I think bachelorette and bachelor are also a bit different imo

plus the personalities.... but if we talk about edits and still go with the hidden F1... then we should concentrate on the girls who got their SD at ep 5 and 6. This is about the time the F1 is generally showing up right?

I honestly don't know what the patterns are in terms of date order. For Richie season Nikki got one of the first dates of the season. Alex got hers later and then her second 1on1 before Nikki's got hers.

Was there an extended season promo for riches season ?

Also, will there be a sneak peak for the rest of the season soon ?

I think mid season, so hopefully soon

So for your BL analysis. He was kissing Tara's upper lip. Like what actors do in movies. Not really kissing her.

I think he has a mandate to kiss tbh. And it started with the awkwardness of Laura's date and the kissing then. It's so weird.

And what does he mean by he was reevaluating not just Tara but all the ladies in the mansion after he kissed Tara. Also weird.

Some people have it all, some people are sexual, some people are intellectual, some people have this "friends with benefits" on their forehead... You can be a great person and no idea how to kiss....

I think Tara is not in the sexual category.... Some women exude sexuality.... aka Florence aka Elora.... to a certain extand Laura.... Tara? nope. This said... when you have a camera on your face, it must be difficult to be all sexy for certain women... some forget, some may do not.

I honestly believe that Matty was all flushed with Laura, not because it was Laura but because it was the first kiss of his season and at that point he was struggling to relax and do it. Not that he did not want to do it, but he was embarrassed to do it in front of a crew even if he went thru that with GL, does not mean it was easy for him.

Reevaluating was not sexual but mental. I honestly believe the guy when he says that he is falling at first conversation... He needs the mental to find a woman beautiful.

Now... the only one who I saw a sexual kiss is with Florence. But then we know that Elora is next on the list.

To me Matty was all flushed after the fact with Laura and not because it was a first kiss, but because he was excited and happy he found someone he was really into. Kind of like Nick was with Vanessa. And I think he and Laura also had a really good convo, so he could have fallen at first convo with her just as much. I just can't get over just how giddy he was talking about that date...more so than any other.

@Sprite And I cannot think about the way he hesitated to kiss her and was not at ease when she asked what was the matter or what he was thinking and he said nothing.

it was not natural to me. I felt as if he thought hard about something. I felt as if he had some pressure to kiss her, like the prods told him that he needed to kiss the girls.

Not that he did not want to kiss Laura or it was a hardship but I did not see the easy fluidity when they kiss

versus tara when he reached for her... or with Florence... even Cobie

I honestly think he was conflicted to kiss her, but not because of her. The PI about the FIRST KISS... for me I felt the first kiss of his season, like the first kiss is always the most difficult to go thru.

I mean she gave him all the puppy eyes a man could obtain with a mute message: KISS ME KISS ME KISS ME.... and yet, he waited a while before he did, brushing his hand on his head, looking away (not flushed, just pressured), and back to her.... and FINALLY kissed her. I will make some SC to describe what I saw.

But of course you may be right and he was all excited for the first kiss with her....... the only thing is that I did not hear the WITH LAURA or WITH HER. During all the PI it was all about the FIRST KISS.

I do not deny the chemistry between Matty and Laura. It is there. More so than any other girl, except Tara. I do see more sexual chemistry with Laura than Tara, but I see more intellectual/emotional with Tara than Laura...

That he reached for Laura at the kids party when she was obviously struggling, can very much be a F1 sign. However, kids are Tara's universe and he just had a SD with her versus Laura which was ep3.... so outside the RC, I think matty wanted this QT with her as he IS interested in her no doubt.

Too much Laura is for me a sign of F2...... The confusion I have this season is that Tara is so entertaining in her PI that she is taking all the room by her funny narrative.

... and again, for me the thailand brunette is for me Tara.

@HEA We will just have to agree to disagree. Baring all other things being equal...sense of humour, intelligence...which I think both Laura and Tara have...chemistry wins out. I'm not going to debate who is funnier because Laura has a more subtle sense of humour while Tara's is more in your face and it would depend on which you prefer, but I think in this case there is too much stress on Tara's sense of humour in the edit and that is not typically a sign of an F1 to me. Similarly, the fact that she is narrating so much of the show...in a silly manner...can't allow me to take her too seriously as F1. While you are seeing too much of Laura, I'm seeing way more of Tara and to me that shows they are promoting her too much for her to be F1.

I guess we will have to see how things play out in the season, but the fact that the producers left in....cleverly, because it was amongst all the drama and fighting so it was kind of glossed over and could easily be missed by the average viewer...that Leah thought that the more time Matty spent with Laura, the more the other women considered her a threat, shows me that he has been spending time with her during cocktail parties and group dates, that we are not seeing. Why? To hide the connection. F1.

@HEA and @Sprite you both make great points.  After rewatching I have been trying to picture Tara as F1 and I am still having a hard time with that.

As far as the FIRST KISS situation I found it telling that for all the sexual chemistry Matty and Elora had he said he wanted to wait and see if they had more depth to their relationship.  Then his next date is Laura and when he is talking about the kiss I agree with Sprite, he seemed smitten IMO.  He also said he wanted to kiss Laura from the minute he saw her that day.  No hesitation, no needing to get to know her better.  This tells me (a) either they had already spent time together that we didn't see and he was comfortable enough or (b) his attraction to her is more than what it is with Elora.

My other thought is on his words and possible delay on kissing her is that he wanted it to be special, not just because it was his first kiss of his season but because it was the first kiss with someone he could see himself possibly ending up with.  Truly he was hesitant on all kissing except Tara.  Cobie had to ask and he moved slow with Flo.  When I rewatched all the 1on1 dates I did not see much more than just 'lip' kissing except with Laura and possibly Flo.  I also noticed that with Laura he went back for a few kisses after giving her the rose.  In most other situations the girls asked him about another kiss.

I know I have Laura colored glasses, once I really like someone I have a hard time moving on.  She could be Matty's F1 or not but she will remain my favorite unless I see something terrible from her down the road.

I really like hearing all the other views because it does get me taking a second look at other girls and giving them a shot

HEA figured out from her screencaps that Elora gets the next the next one on one...the overnight...so I'll be interested in seeing if that goes anywhere since is the first woman who will have a second date.

@locoforbach @Sprite  I think Laura is a nice girl. I like her.  I think Tara is a bit too OTT for me but I like her and find her endearing and funny.

I think Tara is more wifey material and Laura more long time GF material. One is ready to settle down, marry and kids within 3-4 years (Tara) and the other one may need to wait over 30 to be ready to settle down with kids etc.

But he cannot be wrong with one or the other IMO

So now... it is more about who he is falling to no matter the + the girl bring on the table.

I see right now laura edited as F2.... early SD, great fun chemistry, seeking her at RC etc.. and for me it was not hidden... we saw him picking her first at ep1, we saw her with a rose coming back from secret garden. But drama as usual overtook all the precious time we did not see fully...

versus

If Tara goes top 2, why did not we see him chasing her more........... hidden F1. did we see much of their QT during the RC? nope... yet, sleuthing says that she goes at least top 3.... she did not arrive there out of the blue.

Again.... I will be happy with both. I am only trying to figure it out BL and edits
