Bachelor Australia - Season 5 - Matty Johnson - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

IMO episode 10 might be when there are only 8 girls left. That is the day with the F7 GD and the mystery 8th person on their first SD, who could be Michelle or Simone or Alix (depending what happens with these girls until then) or one of the other more likeable girls.

@AprilApril, you could be onto something. I did the math backwards below based on the 16 episodes that was posted somewhere on the SM thread that would be the total number of episodes for this season. I assumed 1 elimination per episode and arrived at 8 girls for Episode 10 like you speculated.....should be interesting if that's how it pans out.

Episode 16 - 2 girls remaining
Episode 15 - 3 girls remaining
Episode 14 -  4 girls remaining
Episode 13  - 5 girls remaining
Episode 12 - 6 girls remaining
Episode 11 - 7 girls remaining
Episode 10 - 8 girls remaining

They are going to have to let go of quite a few girls in the next few episodes. 2 tonight leaves 14 girls going into ep 7.

Thoughts on this clip:

1. How ironic that Matty is saying he's not some puppet when he's probably reading a script that tells him to say he's not a puppet.  

2. He starts to act "unsettled" straight after giving Leah her rose, so IMO he'll either take Leah's rose back or I am now thinking he may do that but with Jen.  Jen was gloating big time last episode and you know what they say, pride comes before a fall.  The audience would love to see her get stripped of her prize, IMO.  So he may take it back and then say, basically, he didn't want to keep Liz OR Jen and doesn't want to let someone else go just because the producers put him in the position where he had to L or J one to stay.

Agreed - the girl in the preview is talking with her hands exactly like Elise does in the BTS footage of them in the hot tub.  Combined with Matty's "I could end up with this girl" comment and it's time for the Elise train to pull out of the station, IMO.  CHOO CHOO!

Ep starts with matty taking sian out for a chat, and they say they're good byes. Matty came back in and talked to the girls, and said he wasn't a puppet, he says what he feels, and the roses are his choice and noone elses. He looked unsettled.

Tara gets the SD
