If it is Eric as F1, I will be so happy for all of you true believers. I think Eric as a lead could be another miracle, so we shall see. Either way, it is lovely to see him so enthusiastic. JMO.

Yes, he was surprised at her feelings for Peter as displayed on the finale during the "breakup". He thought Bryan was the clear frontrunner most of the season, but he thought he would get the F3 rose instead of Peter, because Peter was not willing to propose. I did too. Then we see how she was so invested in Peter.

As well, I thought it was so interesting how he said his goodbye with Rachel was full of laughter, they were joking and laughing before he got in the car, so he wasn't even sad she was sending him home. It wasn't until the next day that he was a little upset about it, thinking it was odd she sent him home before Peter.

It doesn't seem that he was in love with Rachel, hearing him talk, it seemed like they were more in the friendzone, as in he loved her as a friend. So I'm so happy that he was not heartbroken and that he views the entire experience so positively! He is really one of a kind!
