Bachelorette 13 - Rachel Lindsay - Episode 9 - July 24 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

i haven't  been following that closely, but I don't get a Bentley vibe at all from Peter.  Bentley basically said on camera that Ashley was ugly and that he came on for Emily only.  He was beyond rude IMO.

I enjoyed tonight's episode a lot. I appreciated seeing how well Bryan was able to navigate the grilling from the family. He does use a lot of sound bites, but he is quite well-spoken. It is nice to see.

I loved the moment that Peter and Rachel had stomping grapes. That looks like something they will never forget. I appreciate Peter being clear about where he is now in the process. The little girl was adorable... I also really liked how engaged and with it he is about kids/ babies. The 'one size fits all' discussion cracked me up.

Eric has a fantastic smile. I like that he commented on the watches. I wonder if he had any inkling that he was likely going home soon (at F3?) if things do play out that way. I hope so, if he was able to prepare himself.

Meet Theresa and Lauren — the women who signed Rachel up for Nick’s season of The Bachelor way back when. Bryan tells them all about his life in Miami as a “chiropractic physician” (reminder: chiropractors are not, in fact, medical doctors) and assures them that he’s “ready to settle down.” The women are impressed by Bryan’s confidence — though Rachel admits that confidence was something that worried her at first.

This is exactly what I have said. He has bamboozled, hoodwinked his fans. It's as plain as day that this man is not in love, nor falling in love with Rachel. Heck not even wanting to date her. He didn't come on this show for Rachel, he came for one reason and one reason only, to be the bachelor. He pretended to like Rachel at the beginning to take him far and now that he's this far, he can show he don't give darn. Plain and simple. MO

Interesting that some people don't see it at all and see Bryan as a bad guy!

On re-watch, Rachel was honestly more obvious than JoJo was to me in regards to how she reacted with her family about Bryan, which is honestly saying something because JoJo made it the most obvious that Jordan was who she loved with her family, but Rachel might have found a way to catapult her, because man, oh man. Bless ha. She did not come to play about Bryan. She will go after anyone and lose all her chill. Lol.

It's so interesting to watch, because she's so good at remaining in control and holding on to her emotions and all else in so many situations, but let it be about Bryan and well... Yowza.

And real talk, I wonder more and more how Rachel and Peter end up in the Fantasy Suite for intimacy or for Rachel's lists. They don't seem to be anywhere near a place where that makes sense right now, none of it. No need to ask him his credit score or where he wants to educate his kids or anything. Not gonna happen. And Rachel's vague answers about not being intimate with everyone but refusing to say if she'd been intimate with one or two? Makes me wonder if she's head faking and being deliberately vague about if she was intimate with more than one person to avoid making things too obvious, because at this point, Eric and Bryan are the only two that make ANY sort of sense to me. And if that's the case, how does she cut Eric before Peter when Peter is just not that in to her and I feel like she knows that they aren't in to each other/he's not in to her because she keeps stressing finding someone who WANTS THESE THINGS WITH ME. She couldn't be more clear that she sees Peter and knows they aren't the bop. So like!!! How is he in the F2?! #iamlost

That night, over a candlelit dinner, Eric finally “hits the target” — meaning, after some persistent nudging from the Bachelorette, Eric finally says the words Rachel wants to hear: “I’m just here to say that, um, I’m in love with you… Rachel Lindsay, I love you.” We all know what that means, rose lovers:

All in for the win! Eric accepts, and Team Bachelorette is dismissed for the night. I’ll admit, I could have done without the gratuitous morning-after bed shot, though.

Could be but we don't know if it happens the next day. Just as they showed Eric and Rachel the next day. Will there not be a ATFR. Again that's a bit much to carry the F3 ceremony to the finale. Rachel and Eric says the last 2 episode will be something and Rachel say this is a season of firsts. I know I'm puzzled.
