thereal_billyg Whose tuning in for hometowns tonight? My journey may have stopped short but there's still four amazing guys in the running for Rachel's heart! And while I got love for all four it only feels right to give a little extra shoutout to my fellow miamian as he shows rachel how we do!

Her love for her son , made me tear up a bit. I love that she gave Rachel and Bryan some advice about how difficult marriage is. Also going to church to pray on their behalf does not hurt Smiley

I like the ending of that video. She was tearing thinking his son has found someone who will care for him. I see that as being very positive. She knows she can be in peace and give them space from trusting he is in good hands.
At least that how I read it.

It made me think of how Rach says Bryan treats her like a princess and how when she got the matching watch for him how she likes to treat (take care of) her man.

To me, Rach and Bryan have the same love language, outlook on relationships and just get each other. They're on the same wavelength beatingheart

I really like her too. He's her only child and he's a male child, which is a big deal for many mothers (especially Latino and Italian moms in my experience). I just think as long as you love her son well, she'll be happy. I have a strong black mother (from New England so she's super blunt and opinionated) and my sister in laws are Italian and Puerto Rican so they both have strong mothers as well so I don't find it off putting. A mother is irreplaceable so there's no reason to get in a competition with a man's mother.

And I felt like Bryan's mom was almost testing her on how serious she is with her son. Because if Rachel wasn't serious about Bryan, she could just peace out and decide it's not worth the effort with the potential in-laws. But if she doesn't run away, then it shows she really loves Bryan. I think we will see the same during MTP with Rachel's family. Trial by fire and all that. But I believe once both sets of parents are won over that the other party really loves their child, they would welcome them with open arms.

Her reaction to him saying I love you = game over. Pretty sure that was the most obvious reaction I've ever seen on the show at this stage of the process.

Agree, agree, agree especially because this isn't normal for rachel imo, she's not a crying/melting girl usually.

I totally can related to Olga. It's all about making sure your children are ok in the future if you're not around. My only child, son is 34, not married yet, these are things a mother thinks about IMHO, I do for sure. Being Italian I totally get it. It's not a competition, it's peace of mind! yes

I do agree and I absolutely can't see how it can be anyone but him. Scratching my head big time over how obvious it is. Oh well i'll enjoy while it last (and hope it will last forever laugh out loud
