They had a really nice and relaxing week last year with his family in Chico. They can either celebrate before or after he heads home or she can simply go with him.

Just one minor correction - Jordan is calling the regular season opening game for Florida A&M at Arkansas game (not pre season) . This is in addition to his regular Saturday Prime Time assignment which officially starts on Sept 2nd for the next 13 Saturdays until Nov 25. The next scheduled game he calls is either ChattNoog at LSU or N Colorado at Florida. The 3rd weekend game he calls on Sept 16 is Kentucky at South Carolina. All game times are prime time at 7:30pm ET/6:30 CT on the main SEC Network.

In addition to that, there are many people that have to work long hours on their birthdays.  This will be the first time in 16 years that I will not have to work on my birthday.  Fiscal year end doesn't care when the accountant has their birthday.

I also have had several family members involved in college and pro football over the years.  They pretty much had very little life outside football from August to December when they played or coached college football.  The one in pro football had no outside life from July to January. Neither one of them was at the highest level of coaching either. Jordan is lucky that he will have a few days each week that he can be home in Dallas with JoJo although I'm sure he'll be doing lots of studying of tapes for the next week.

Jojo and Jordan had facials and so they could not go out for dinner. Hence Hello Fresh came to the rescue and the lovebirds are preparing dinner at home collaboratively. Nice to see them do things together as usual. Couple that cooks together stays together.
