I really liked what Peter wrote on Instagram. I don't know if he was saying he had turned ABC down although it could be taken that way. It could also mean that they encouraged him to propose and he chose not to. Either way, I thought it was well said.

It was, I hate all the flack he's receiving because of it. I understand why esp from people that dont care for him and why people think it's emotionally manipulative, but as someone that thinks and processes things the same way I get why and why It took him so long. I hope that he does go to therapy and stays out of the limelight for a bit (even though that pains me to say). I think his post was a step in a new direction and his relationship on camera opened his eyes to how he is in relationships...... and then when he's all better I want a 24/7 live feed of his life...it's all I ask peter.

Wow, I haven't been here in ages. Like since mid-season.

We need to start campaigning for him to be on Winter Games. I'm seriously bummed he will be missing from my TV come January. I was REALLY looking forward to a Bachelor season I could get very excited about. I'm a huge Ette fan and half-watch the Bach, but it was going to change with Peter as lead. Guess I'll continue my regular viewing ways.

As per what Peter wrote, people will take it in different ways depending on how they feel about him IMO. I thought it was heartfelt.

I don't put a lot of stock in this article. They are trying to justify not choosing him saying he emotionally wasn't ready, too raw from the break up. Actually (if you follow their logic) they are doing his fans a favor     bc if they wait (and if by chance he gets the gig later)it will make for a better season for Peter and his fans. He makes it sound like they were always working with someone else and if he didn't work out they would consider Peter. Peter was never their first choice according to this article. I think they are trying to revise history to make it look better for them and justify what they've done.

I do not believe for one second that Peter wasn't their first choice. We will probably never know the whole story but I would believe Peter before TPTB. I was really disappointed with him not being selected but also think he dodged a bullet. If TPTB got their wish I think they should be careful what they wish for.

I am sorry he has to go through this. In time he will work through all that has happened on this "journey". I think his IG was a way for him to get closure. I know he's getting some criticism for it but i think it was heartfelt. He is still one of my favorites.

I totally think he was first choice, but they wanted a puppet to play with. **edited**. I think Peter would have been great. I'd rather have an emotionally deep, insecure man (that shows flaws and feelings no matter how hot you are) **edited** I do hope we see Peter down the road in some capacity, whether with the Bach franchise (I think he'd love the Winter Games...I keep emphasizing this) or on something more physical like Survivor or Naked and Afraid (I can only dream).

I agree with you. Peter was their 1st choice and he turned them down and they had to choose someone else. However, personally, I still think he's in love with Rachel. It's going to take him time to get over it.
