I have to agree. I've always really liked Matty but if he has a sleepover with a girl who isn't his F1 it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'm going to try not to judge until I see how it plays out though. I know Matty has said there was no sex during the season's filming, so if his F1 is okay with what's happened, maybe there's more to it than we've heard.

My main query is if they stayed together or not, and if they did stay together was it off camera time. Being in the same hotel overnight is no biggie but I think only one girl being given the option of off-camera isn't fair...

Bobette wrote an excellent summation of the outcomes for Matty after this overnight date (I can't remember the topic she wrote it under). Every outcome ended up with Matty being regarded in less than favourable light!!

My guess with the Laura crying screen shot is that she was the one on the overnight date, someone gave her grief about it which upset her and Matty eliminated the person who gave her grief at the rose ceremony which was why there was so much shock surrounding it.

@spangler I wrote in my post above the dress Laura is wearing when she is crying can be seen in the SC of her at the RC standing next to Jen. IMO Laura does not have a rose. If she doesn't have a rose she did not go on the overnight date. (Assuming the SC's are from episode 8)

@Storybook either way I think her tears are due to some sort of fall our from the overnight date. We all know how boozy cocktail parties are with lack of food. Lots of drama probably came out of it at the cocktail party.

@Storybook, that is correct...if those crying SCs are from Episode 8 (which most likely they are IMO since we know from the episode guide there was some meltdown at the Epsiode 8 CP and also the fact that all of Jen's CP SCs are only up to Episode 9) then IMO Laura was not the one on the overnight date because she was clearly standing by Jen in a position that denotes that she didn't have a rose yet.

Yep...welll done @Bobette   ....it's a match IMO....just another clue in addition to the media propping this and the fact that CP SC for episode 8 IMO places Laura in "not yet to receive a rose position".
