They edit as the show is filmed. There have been seasons where the final Rose ceremony headed filmed with the first episode was aired

They may. They definitely have the contestants and leads go back and add in narration. You can sometimes tell based on the background and their tans

I honestly think the chocolate bit probably made him think he had no chance after that. It was basically his only stunt to pull on Rachel. He was also very nervous as Rachel even recalls. I really don't think he thought he would've made it that far imho.

and that bothers me. If the connection was immediate out of the limo, he should not be surprised at all. If he felt that the chat went really good and it was mutual, then again, he should not have been that surprised right?

@HEA I love Peter but I am taking an analytical view of things now and I glass over things before but not so much right now.  Rachel knew who she wanted night one in my opinion, the producer knew who they wanted as the next bachelor and set things in motion.  I am reading them, now next season I wont have to distress I will know what to look for to determine who wins.   Fleiss game over I  have you in my sights. LOL jmho.

Looking back on certain things in episode 3 cement my contention that Rachel knew early who she wants, it was just to work out if that person was on the same page as her, and want the same things she is ready for.

That is how I saw it too. Wasn't there an ITM of him even saying something like he wished he had made a bigger impression on her after seeing what some of the other guys were doing with their limo exits (Blake and his band, Will's Urkel routine, etc.)?

But one can feel that connection & yet not really know if its being reciprocated by the lead or not. He didn't get the FIR so until she called his name he was probably just being hopeful for whatever comes his way rose or not. JMO

I will add I think she's gotten a raw deal with most of these guys! She's handled it well. i love her sense of style this season. I wish some of her so called squad would cool it with BIP with constant media blabbing! I know she'll be glad when the attention turns back to her journey. It's only fair.

that is my conclusion also. I see all the seats and placement and I am thinking manipulation by prods. I am seeing this Next Bachelor etiquette on him. I hope he is a really good guy and it is not smoke. I like him so far. I want a decent nice next bachelor please.

Yes. If Peter becomes more confident as the show progresses then maybe for both but for now yes it's pointing at Bryan.
