Sometimes when you move it costs almost as much to move stuff you really aren't crazy about or need as to start from scratch.
And then, it's always fun to start from scratch.
We did this when we moved from Missouri to NJ. We sold rooms full of furniture at our Missouri home and bought new in NJ and our packing and move were even paid for so moving expense wasn't an issue.

Bryan renting out his condo that he owns sounds like smart planning. Just one more clue IMO to add to the surmounting evidence that Bryan is F1.

Another thing in the plus column for Bryan....he owns his own condo! Definitely wise to lease his condo until he and Rachel make future plans for a place together. In the interim he maintains his investment and income to cover it. IMO.

He should absolutely keep his condo & rent it out. That's the smart thing to do!
Looks like he isn't just good looking but smart as well. What a winning combination imo

Even if Peter clears the proposal hurdle, she has said so many times in her interviews that she's ready to start a family. I doubt he's there yet.
The only thing that gives me a teeny tiny bit of hope is that's she's said this about her fiance. Both Peter and Rachel have said they can't describe their connection but it's there:
“I kept saying that the person I’m supposed to be with — I’ll just feel it,” Rachel Lindsay, 32, told us EXCLUSIVELY on Friday when she stopped by to gush over what we will see this season. “It’s some unexplained, x-factor emotion that we have between the two of us that just stood out. Like I can’t name it.”
Just like Rachel couldn't describe why she was giving Peter the Group Date rose on Viking date, too hard to put in words. As Peter said something along those lines on their first date in the moment that sometimes you don't need words you just feel it.

Yeah, I am trying to see Bryan as more than a smooth talker but I just can't. I get the vibe that Rachel thinks he's hot and too good to be true but she never looks half as comfortable with him as she does with Peter. So weird. JMO.

Re: Bachelorette 13 - Rachel Lindsay - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - #3
Hello, everyone! I'm newly arrived from the unspoiled side, where I may have been the last holdout. And my unspoiled guess for F1 was...Bryan. To me it's been very obvious for the past few weeks that it was coming down to Peter vs. Bryan. I knew that RS had changed his mind about the F1, so (not knowing who he picked) I had to figure that he had picked Peter and changed to Bryan, or vice-versa.
What finally swayed me to Bryan was, weirdly, Rachel's 1-on-1 date with Will. When she complained about his lack of physicality, all of a sudden I realized that she *needs* a super-sized dose of wooing, kissing, and physical affection, and the one person who has consistently delivered on that is Bryan. Now like some other fans, I found Bryan's ardent approach to be too OTT for my taste. IMO he has been too much the smooth operator. A guy like that would send me running for the hills. But I think what is a complete turn off for me is a turn on for Rachel. IMO it is what she wants and needs. So if Bryan is indeed her pick, then what can I do but wish them both well?
Other clues that have been telling for me include Rachel being obviously smitten with him, the "too good to be true" comments, and (the cherry on the sundae) the matching high-end watches, which seem to me to be as much of a declaration of intent as you are going to see on this show.
And as much as I like Peter, and would love a Peter/Rachel match, I love the notion of him being the Bachelor even better. The women will lose their minds over him. So as far as I'm concerned, win-win.
Here's my take on Peter -- yes, I agree with those who say he is inherently reserved. I certainly like his more balanced approach with Rachel as apposed to Bryan's ardent wooing. I'm wondering if Peter may have plunged head first (physically) into relationships before, learned from his mistakes, and with Rachel, he wanted to take his time. He wanted to cultivate the mental connection first. Hence his remark to her in Copenhagen that they had so much to talk about. I wonder if he is consciously pulling back from too much physicality.
Another thought -- is it possible that Bryan was so much of a front-runner to the remaining guys that it affected how Peter treated Rachel?
Dean -- I was really disappointed in this date. I like Dean a lot, and loved his first 1-on-1. It was hard to see him retreat into goofiness. Yes, Rachel finally got him to open up, and I do realize why his family is a painful topic for him. But it was like watching teeth being extracted to get him to that point.
Eric -- My job involves working with kids who come from backgrounds very similar to Eric's. Let's just say that going way back in the season, everything about him was familiar to me. I can't even begin to tell you by how far he beat the odds by staying out of trouble, graduating from high school, and graduating from a quality college with a Magna Cum Laude. I do admire him for that, because he's had a very long, hard road. He needs the male equivalent of a Cinderella story, but it's just not going to be with Rachel.
Hometowns -- should be interesting, to say the least. I had a real question mark when Bryan said that his last girlfriend couldn't compromise with his mom. I was thinking, huh? What is there to compromise about when you are at the dating stage? ...Where you spend Thanksgiving or Christmas? Whether you have boiled vs. mashed potatoes? What is he talking about? Many fans think that Dean's dad will be the humdinger, but I wonder if Bryan's mom will be the real trip.

@amethyst Welcome to the spoiled side!
I'm wondering if some of the conflict between Bryan's ex and his mom might not have been about language and/or culture. CMIIW, but didn't Bryan say that he mostly spoke Spanish to/because of his mom?
My in-laws immigrated to the US and learned English in their 20s.. Therefore, my DH grew up bilingual. There were many times early on in our dating that I'd be over his house and his parents and their friends would be speaking in their native tongue, and I was pretty sure that some of it was about me. Maybe I was just paranoid, but when you are young and newly dating and in a new situation, stuff like that can bother you. Many, many years later and with much more maturity under my belt, I traveled with 17 other relatives to their "homeland" for 3 weeks---a place where I was immersed into the lives of all of the extended family, all of whom spoke only their native tongue. It was nice and a wonderful experience, but there were inconveniences and uncomfortable moments and the language barrier was also a problem for me. If the ex traveled to Columbia with a large group of people for a wedding, I would say that it may have felt like a baptism by fire to have that kind of experience so early on in a relationship. JMO.
This is just a speculation of mine about what may have caused the conflict. I really have no clue.

A large family, much less one with a strong cultural inclination, would be overwhelming to a lot of people. So I think what you are speculating about Bryan's former gf could be true.
And Amethyst welcome to the dark side! Interesting that Will's date was the clue for you on what Rachel wants in a partner.

Good insight, MiaHawk. I've done cross-cultural dating as well -- for three years to my ex-boyfriend. I visited his home country as well, so I understand what you are saying. In my case, the differences were more than I could handle, so kudos to you for sticking it out and making it work! I've also wondered if culture comes into play with Bryan's very ardent approach.
