If he is F2, it must be awkward for him because everyone is wishing he ends up with Rachel.

Also, after Rach lost her grandmother I'm sure all she wants to do is be with her man, snuggled on her couch! Peter sees how much fans are invested, blowing up his IG feed and we are begging for clues! He probably wakes up to 20000 new likes a day and thousands of comments. He knows we are freaking out...and IMO he is trying to leave subtle clues out of respect for what I pray is his secret but not so secret engagement! Remember Rachel said he's JUST ad excited...so why has he been so smiley since the day he got back?!
