And although Peter wasn't mentioned in her blog this week (Bryan wasn't last week), last week was a love letter to him IMO and she's mentioned twice both the week before and after their date that she was swept off her feet that week.  Way to sneak that Peter ref in there Rach and make sure we know when and who swept you off your feet - that's my interpretation and I'm sticking to it  .  JMO.

No, and usually only two meet the family but since her sister couldn't travel ypthis year the final three will meet them I believe (another first)

Gonna rant now but reality steve really ruined this season for me. I always go spoiled since I like to be already invested in the couple or root for someone else but this season just stinks. I'm done guys. I don't like being invested when the show starts then a huge curveball is dropped and I have to watch it for that outcome? F*** that. It's like such a huge bummer to me. I was really excited and now it's just for what!? This season seems unbearable to me cause I just don't like the supposed new F1 at all. I wish Rachel the best but I just don't see anything great coming out of this. **edited**See ya on ATFR. Hi everyone! Newbie here!

I've been quietly reading these threads as I partake on this crazy, emotional roller coaster ride of a season! So many people bring up great points and it is riveting! I'm definitely team pachel and have wavered a little in my convictions within the last 24 hours; however, in my opinion, peter and rachel pass too many eye tests and have all the intagibles that true love has! Since this is such a historic season, IMO I do feel as though the producers are doing a lot more extra to keep things interesting, but perhaps we are over-thinking it?

With it being called such a "groundbreaking", pivotal season, and so much on the line regarding viewership and wanting to gain a more diverse audience, why edit film to allow the audience to invest in Peter, build Rachel up to look like she found her dreamy, real-life disney prince only to seemingly bait and switch her to the built up "physical" choice? Rachel has been stressing she has found her forever, her BEST FRIEND.. a la Peter's date card. IMO we cannot overlook the overt but subtle hints she found him. This is a proclaimed season of firsts: She said she chose him for the 1st date because of her GUT and it didn't fail her. She picked him FIRST to meet her BEST FRIEND AND DOG CHILD Copper to see how he'd do (nailed it IMHO)...she proclaims other firsts like private jet and palm springs...he is the first to meet the parents (Reality Steve), leading me to think he is a front runner and wants them to stack the others in comparison IMO.

Could it be the first time it is right before our eyes yet we let RS derail us from the obvious, spoken connection? Why are we THIS invested and so seemingly devastated so soon? IMO It's because Peter is supposed to be THE ONE. He has already let her know he wants to be her doggy and baby daddy. He will move for her and get out of his comfort zone without embarrassing himself or her a la Ellen show. He seemingly walks the line between self assuredness and derived confidence that I imagine comes from those unseen footage moments they keep for themselves.

I know RS has a superb record, but I do NOT see the logic in putting America against Rachel's choice by editing Bryan as a face sucking schmooze IMO. It was suggested by RS that Rachel and Vanessa had a tiff in the house that never made the show's edit...IMO benefiting Nick and V by making her look less b*tchy and Rachel stays drama free, making her more appealing as the Bach/ette. Why couldn't or wouldn't they edit Bryan the same way to help Rach save face? Why make the post season dialogue about why she went team B instead of P when all roads seemingly led THAT way?

I believe everything happens for a reason. Rachel deserves the best. Peter is the best for her. I can literally see the future between them. Im not giving up. I have officially become obsessed.

Honestly I think the reason why people are so invested in the Peter and Rachel story is because over the last few seasons the show has become so predictable. How refreshing would it be if the guy who got the first 1:1, the head tilt, who seemed so nervous about meeting her was actually F1 instead of the usual FIR date 5 guy!! I don't think people necessarily dislike Bryan I just think they were hoping for once the producers would lead with a love story rather than a ratings story. That is of course if Peter won!!! IMO of course!

I don't know how much input leads get in terms of the date order. Like I doubt the last five bachelorettes wanted to wait until week five to see their man (especially ones like Jojo, Andi, and Kaitlyn who practically made their decision night one). I definitely think that Peter was a frontrunner for her, but I don't necessarily think picking him first indicates anything. In fact, all history indicates is that he'll also be a Frank or a Brooks, who got first dates. I also don't think that Peter meeting the parents first is necessarily a good indication. Nick met both Andi's and Kailtyn's parents first and was put up as the less impressive guy, so their F1 would look better coming afterwards. I think that it's very possible that the producers knew that Peter would be the family's favorite and that they would be suspicious of Bryan and like him less following Perfect Peter, so it might have been a producer move to create better television. I also think that Bryan has been getting a pretty neutral edit so far, albeit a physical one. It is Peter that is getting the Perfect Peter edit, which reminds me of Bachelor edits more than the F1 edit which has never been particularly kind to the Bachelorette F1s. And, it would make perfect sense for the show to try and make America think the fan favorite wins because I think that if Bryan had been originally spoiled to win, people wouldn't have been quite as invested and excited. I could still see it going either way, but the date order and MTP order and the foiler motivation all seem to point more to Bryan than Peter, IMO.

I am beginning to beliveve that maybe Peter never "got there" (as in love) with Rachel, maybe he needs more time to fall in love and even if he did really really like her (IMO obvious) he never fell in love. That would explain why Peter looked sooo happy on his first snap after being home although he is F2 (if the spoiler is correct). That explains why there is no voice over from him saying he is in love with her and that could also explain Rachel going back and forth between her men. I believe that up to her date with Bryan Peter was her F1 but because of Bryan IMO falling faster (or at least showing his devotion more) her relationship with him after that became stronger than the one with Peter. All IMO. I still hope the spoiler and I am wrong though...

That IG story a few days after the FRC is sus AF to me because he's literally beaming from ear to ear. Like, if that's your face less than a week after being dumped for another guy, you better not come on that ATFR pretending to be heartbroken and acting like you lost the love of your life or whatever.
