Yes, that is a very typical response from abusers or people in the wrong still believing that THEY are right. Very sad.

She's such a mess, holy sh*t! What I hate the most about this is that it's giving Josh some credibility.

I don't know who is more of a fool, her or him for staying with her after she tried to blame him. I've lived through that hell with a good friend, of being blamed of abuse when in actual fact it was the other way around. Absolutely horrible.

And it sounds like her friends who were clearly drunk too were trying to help her in the situation but she just kept digging herself deeper. When they were sober they didn't even try to lie to cover up what really went down.

To Amanda's friends: my mother told me you are judged by the company you keep.

I wouldn't judge Ananda's friends, they aren't in her relationships, and she probably acts completely different with her friends than romantic partners. Her friends told  the truth what happened, and didn't cover up for Amada. That's what matters, Imo.

Amanda is absolutely horrible, Imo. Domestic violence is absolutely terrible, and I hope she gets the book thrown at her, Imo. I feel sorry for her I hope ex-boyfriend now, and her children. It's disgusting, that Amanda tried to paint herself as the victim on this situation. Imo.

As someone mentioned, Amanda is still with the bf she abused.
