@GuardianAngel its bonkers but I think that's a standard line tbh they feed them.

But does anyone else feel like her interviews and press are little like the AUS leads imo. They don't have the engagement so they have to do the whole "wait and see", "it's a slow burn" (it's never a slow burn by the way), it's not who you think" Etc.

After my article appeared — and while [Nick] Viall’s Bachelor season was being broadcast with Rachel still in the mix — the producers of The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise called me up to tell me that the upcoming Bachelorette would feature a black woman. There were three black women among the remaining contestants, and though the producers wouldn’t reveal whom it would be, clearly Rachel had been a standout.

So this confirms what was said on afterbuzz, they had Rachel as Bachelorette quite early on.

Yup!!! Love these posts cos they capture exactly what I'm thinking right now. I really think watching Bryan in action makes it all clear to me why my guy friends always complained about women always overlooking the nice guy for a bad boy and why the pickup artist books are such million dollar hits -- cos those moves work and they've worked on most of the bachettes We have a small sample size of these women. They make it seem like it takes some massive rejection (Bentley leaving, brooks leaving, graham leaving etc) for a woman to really prioritize the nice guy or else the alpha guy can 'score' time and time again - funnily enough we're seeing by night one games over...all the other guys can just pack up and go

But you can't force yourself to be in love with someone, even if it's the "nice guy" that you THINK you should be with. And if he isn't the one, he seems pretty happy. I'm sure they are both happy where they are at in life right now. Hell, maybe they are together. I still have my doubts about the new spoiler TBH

That's partly what bothers me about Bryan. I used to watch this trash reality show called Keys to the VIP, which was a competition show for pick-up artists. And all the moves he pulls with Rachel are typical pick-up artist moves. From speaking to her in Spanish and making her repeat after him, to "rewarding" her with a high-five when she got part of the Spanish translation correct, to his contrived softened tone when approaching her? That's textbook PUA moves right there where he's flipping the power dynamic and making her engage with him on his level. Maybe that's just him. But I just can't shake the skeevy feeling I get from it all. Give me the shy, slightly awkward guy any day over the too-smooth guy who has all the right moves and all the right words. All JMO.

@realitytvfan11 yup! That's also exactly what I see with Bryan. I see moves and scripts - with the intent to score another woman who's a real challenge (she has 30 other guys after her) I do not yet see a guy searching for love. Ch hinted at something when he said 'he says he's ready for a family, but is he really' we shall see I guess! The last 2 bettes got lucky with alpha guys who were ready to commit to one woman all jmo

Maybe Bryan is not subtle in his approach and gives off player vibes to some but IMO so far he is no different from other F1s  (e.g. Chris S) that were more subtle but also about the girl from the onset. We know Bryan and Rachel share more than the physical based on what he said to Eric and also from Rachel's episode 3 blog. IMO other than the sloppy seconds comment; Bryan has stayed outta drama (so IMO not the sleeper villain doctor that Millsy talked about) and seems to be friends with the other guys, that's worth something IMO. Regardless if he is F1 or not, I am not seeing him as this super aggressive human per the sleuthing I have read in his thread so far. For me from the little that has been sleuthed of Peter; he is my natural type but if Rachel decides he is not for her then all well and good in the world

Also to add the last 2 Bettes, the producers did a number on the edits IMO for their F1's IMO which I have not seen any indication of such for either Bryan or Peter so far anyways; should be interesting if both continue to get non-dramatic edits till the very end...all jmo.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but I personally can't be sold that Bryan's anything like my actual, real life disney prince, Chris Siegfried. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it   . Also IMO Prince Siegfried would've never called Des sloppy seconds. All JMO of course

I just feel like out of all the guys, Bryan's in it to win it. His whole approach is very scripted and not genuine, imo. It's all like "I'm gonna kiss her spontaneously so she remembers me", "Give her a massage", "I'm gonna basically tell Ellen's audience I was her first kiss". It's as if he studied this show before and knows exactly what to do or say to the lead. It's all just too OTT.

@ReneeM.....I was part of the group that sleuthed and believed that Chris S was the F1 back in the day so girl I hear ya, he sure is the gold standard IMO. We will see what Bryan brings to the table for dear Rachel if TPTB show more than just the physical edit for them and there is always post show for him to warm up to y'all if indeed he turns out to be F1
