at 44 minutes apparently Rachel told nick when she was on his season about her dating Kevin Durant in college, but it was never aired because I guess they didn't think it was relevant to show

Re Rachel's blog - do the Bachelor/ettes actually write it themselves?

I've always suspected that they are producer written, or at least heavily edited, and the Bacherlor/ette does not have much control over the final version.

Has anyone analyzed this? I mean, I can't imagine Chris Soules writing his own blogs for example... or Juan Pablo for that matter.

JPG actually wrote his own blogs, his final blog took days to come out because he and TPTB were fighting over what it could include. The others, I do not know for sure.

I think they write them themselves but they are definitely reviewed and edited.

I think the only SM/media thing that was put without the effect of the RS round 1 spoilers was the Insta post of Rachel on the 16th May. So I feel the intention to announce her engagement was there from the start because that post says find my best friend which IMO meant she was engaged.

I don't know what that means but thought I would observe it any way

I'm just irritated but not surprised that if Bryan is f1, Rachel feels he's her best friend, their relationship is full of trust and love and understanding and everything else, and all we (audience) sees is kissing. Soo typical, tptb!! Ugh. All imo, including the sound effects!

its still early day, still time for Bryan's relationship to develop and for us to see more than kiss kiss kiss. But /i am still partial to Peter though. imo

Right it is unfortunate quite a few articles/podcast have also mentioned the same thing about them just kissing. It is early days but I also would not be surprised if the edit still continues the same. Jmo.

With TPTB??  Yes.

I have always said I think it be great on after the final Rose if they showed some of the scenes that were cut just to show the build up of the relationships a bit more but they never well

Probably, imo, because that's not why MF does the show.
I think Rachel coming out initially and saying she is engaged was to get a strong fan base behind her to support her choice. Her interviews showed she was happy. Posters here, for the most part from what I was able to observe, thought she was happy from her immediate interviews. It seemed to me, the view was if Rachel is happy that is good.
Unfortunately, a spoiler came out indicating her choice/F1 and that swayed some and caused attachments. Then another spoiler came out to refute that and make a 180.
I try not to go by spoilers. I try to go by my own sleuthing whether it be from the screen caps, sources I have personally vetted, or something post show that appears concrete(SHV).
I will however, use the 2 spoilers and their timing as pieces of the puzzle. Why did each come out when they did, if they are related to the other spoiler, etc(sometimes spoilers are related).
Things are bound to change again. Just keep on sleuthing and good work!
