I think, because they're so common in LA, there are a lot of laws in place to protect the celebrities (especially if they're with their kids). I think Montreal cops just aren't used to it so they probably don't have protocols in place to deal with it. It was surprising though that the police was even hesitating to approach the guy to even simply ask him to stop taking pictures.

Makes sense. There are people taking pics of whatever all the time on phones. Travelling, I myself take pics with people in them and know I have likely ended up in strangers shots. It can be a grey area.

So much speculation at the time about what she was saying, like "Will you stay off the phone for 5 minutes" or "You seriously don't have a 20?" when in reality she said
"There is that f-ing paparazzi again!!!!".

       That is so hilarious!!! I am literally laughing out loud it's too funny. I can totally see it now and it just confirms for me how Nick and V must just laugh at the utter BS and ridiculous things trolls and media say when N&V know the truth. It's too funny because in the past year I have been shown instances where other sites have specifically mocked me and my posts on this forum and say all sorts of bizarre things they conjure up regarding me and I just have to laugh because it's so far from reality that it's hilarious to me and if I, a nobody random anonymous person on a forum, finds those types of things ridiculous and hilarious I can only imagine how ridiculous someone like Nick and Vanessa find the trolls and media with what is said about them and just have to laugh. It's also no wonder to me that Nick is the best person ever from this franchise on how to deal with media/SM trolls because I have no doubt the majority of what is said about him is not the truth at all and total BS so it can roll off his back easily as he probably realizes just how far-fetched stuff is I imagine that's why Vanessa has said that Nick has helped her so much too with SM trolls, etc, because he's been there done that and he really couldn't care less what some strangers or media thinks about him. It's always been one of my favorite things about Nick - that he is just authentically himself and doesn't need to prove himself to anyone because he is secure in himself

Love the hashtags and the pic! I love the ease with which Vanessa has become a part of Nick's family and his circle of longtime friends. V holding Nick's godson is making me wish for those Nissa babies sooner. Kaia will always be the MVP of Nick-Vanessa's love story IMO.    Who knows where these two would be if Kaia had not nominated Nick for the 'Ette?
