@Carine Peter himself pointed out that it feels like this isn't the first time they are hanging out --- he seems to be on a league of his own at the moment when it comes to the connection


IA with the post above @mindless that Peter definitely seems to come on the show interested in getting to know Rachel and he's responding naturally to the touchiness or conversation based on how things actually go rather than just pouncing at her cos he was obsessed coming on the show already. I like the laid back aspect of his and Dean's approach of mainly allowing for an interaction to get to know Rachel genuinely and to follow the romance where it may lead.

Right he mentioned he talked to his dad about coming on the show and they talked about Rachel so he was feeling her even before the show imo. I actually got more of a couple that have been dating for awhile vibe from them, just comfortable and at ease imo.

Yup I definitely sensed some nerves from him too. & IA agree 100% about them seeming more like a couple that have been dating for a while. They touched so many topics from moving, to family, to kids, to talking about them both having gone to therapy in the past, so nonchalantly. I've been watching this show a long time and I know the name of the game, that they have to talk about certain things and open up, and more often than not, it seems very contrived to me because I know it's just part of the show, but I didn't get that from them at all. It seemed so natural, like the conversation just progressed that way from them getting to know each other rather than a checklist of things you have to do when on a date on this show. All JMO.

Yeah, he's obviously into her, but I feel like he's still being realistic and trying to get to really know her rather than just win her over for the sake of winning like certain others. I mean he's not actively trying to sweep her off her feet, it's just happening because Rachel is that into him, and I like it. JMO.

Yes. He doesn't come across like the flashy type so his "wooing" style will look different compared to some of the preening peacocks. It seems like right now he is seeing what sort of pace Rachel sets and then working with that. As you noted, once the first kiss happened, he is the one who went in for the second. I also think his eyes and his facial expressions are saying quite a bit. I like that he is letting things progress naturally.

IMO, the more natural interactions like P and R when they show a connection, but it isn't OTT is much more symbiotic of a mature relationship and one that develops into actual companionship. Physicality fades. If all you have is passion, what happens when life occurs, age sets in and you are left together? Don't waste it.

They remind me of JP and Ash. She whined to him about Bentley and instead of being bent out of shape and a jealous Neanderthal, he recognized how hard it was for HER and how it wasn't just about HIM. That is the true test of a relationship. IMO.
