Ben Higgins - Bachelor 20 - Discussion

To me it sounded like he wants the BS to stop ! He is living his life how he wants. He explained that he is not perfect and owned up to some of his actions. I do not blame him one bit if I was in his shoes I would post the same thing. It wasn't about poor me but to tell people that he is still working., still involved with his humatarian work etc... JMO

Wow, he really can't handle any criticism, can he? As soon as he gets some, he turns super defensive. Not everyone is gonna like you or everything you do, Ben. It's about time you accept that. JMO.

If he is receiving the type of criticism like he is on this board I would become defensive too. It is uncalled for IMO since we truly do not know who he is. Of course he likes the spotlight or he would never of gone on the show. To me he is also defensive of the things that have been said about Lauren too. He says he is not perfect but doing what he enjoys. JMO

Okay he has to read here right? I did not see hundreds of negative comments on his IG to warrant him to post a whole essay about not being perfect and doing the podcast for the right reasons etc. Ben, please get over yourself and just live life without pleasing others honey! jmo

We don't know who any of these people are, yet they get criticised here day in day out, most far worse than Ben. I don't see how it's suddenly uncalled for in his case. JMO.

I don't like the podcast. JMO. It sounds soo forced and unnatural, he comes off as a well-rehearsed politician and both of them are so fake happy. Reminds me of the last Bach and how very careful he was to please TBP. IMO, if all goes well for him, he very well may be the next 2.0. Sorry, no offense to his fans.

She commented on Ben's first picture that he posted today and said "I love every decision you make in life. I love Ben. #MakeAmericaBenAgain."

Oh my gosh, is she plugging for him to be the bachelor again?

I'm glad Ben addressed the critics instead of just turning off his comments. IMO, another example of much more mature he is than Lauren. He doesn't try to run/hide from his problems like she does. JMO.

Always explaining himself so others don't judge his motives about EVERYTHING. How does one live a life constantly looking for validation? Jeez Ben

I am also happy that he posted what he said but I will disagree with you about Lauren. I do not think she is hiding from her problems we all handle things different. She is also probably sick of the negative comments and chose to stay silent. It is two people who thought that at first things would work out but when it came to reality they both realized they want different things in life. If Lauren was so upset about Ben then I do not think her best friend would Ike the post. Plus Wells also commented what a great guy he is. JMO

Yes others do get more criticism here than Ben does. I just find it uncalled for because we truly do not know the real person inside. The only one I criticize is a man that is truly crazy and have had to deal with his mother personally. There are plenty I do not like but I have no need to criticize every move they make. You never know what that person is truly going through. JMO
