@kraft33 @Ilovepeter mentioned this in a thread I now can't find but the plant behind her seems to be the same that's in the background of Peter's room when he's crying.

The black top/ cry-laugh does seem super out of place in the edit, IMO

Agree the black top scene seems out of place but that plant/ wall do look similar!! You guys are good!!

I feel like the blue wall between the leaves in Rachel's "we're in two different places" does NOT look like Peter's wall. Her blue wall look like a true blue to me, while Peter's looks like white/gray. I'm not positive it is Bryan's wall either but it looks closer to that color to me.

ETA: if we can place that blue wall in the "we're in two different places" I think the story will fall into place.

It's also entirely possible that the plant is just a generic hotel plant that could have been in any of the guys' rooms as it literally looks like a "waxy-leafed, can't tell if it's real or fake!" plant one might find in Michaels IMO I'm having trouble definitively connecting her crying in the grey sweater to Peter, because the sequencing of sweater off/ sweater on/ crying on the floor/ saying he won't give up on her just isn't computing.

I'm starting to think that black top is from the night portion of the LCD with Peter. He's wearing a white t-shirt on the day portion of that date, as he is when crying in the hotel on the floor. Maybe the crying scene is just after a tough conversation and not the breakup scene? Maybe he's grappling with having so many walls up?

Maybe I'm digging for gold that isn't there but if someone could help with the whole sweater thing that would be WONDERFUL.

Does the blue wall that can be seen through the leaves of the plant (near Rachel's left temple) belong to Bryan's room?  There is a gold glow in the bottom left behind the leaves in Rachel's SC. Could that be the gold candles from Bryan's room too? I agree that the plant is different but I think it a different plant in another part of the same room.

Haha no we're talking about the same wall -- my last post was confusing because I'm confused I'm in the same boat as you that I can't say with 100% certainty that it's Peter's room (though I DO think it looks more like the plant in the background of his crying scene than it does the plant in Bryan's room). You make a good point that it could just be a different part of the room we're seeing...

In the subject of backgrounds, do we know where this takes place?

I don't think the wall behind Rachel is blue coz it is slightly visible on the right side of her face in the SC below (top right and where her hair touches her shoulder on the right side) and it looks beige to me.

I did notice the slight blue you are talking about though and some yellow shades between the leaves and I wonder if it is the wallpaper(?) that is visible behind Peter in the SC below.

We really need a SC of Eric's room IMO. I am tired of searching for it based on only one SC of him entering a room.

Also, just wanted to remind that TPTB have a whole prop department that provide things like fabric, silk plants, votives etc. Those things are mobile obviously.

Thanks for the note about production having plants and votives etc. I didn't know that.

@coolangel In the SC below, there is a yellow wall and a blue panel that intersect at a plant. That's why I thought that the yellow on the left of the plant and the blue on the right of the plant might have been the same room. But the blue in Rachel's SC is lighter than this blue. We need to see Eric's room to know for sure.

On a related note, I looked at lots of pics of Bryan's hotel and couldn't find a suite with a blue panel. Could this SC have been from somewhere other than his hotel room? Maybe this is the fantasy suite?

I'm pretty sure the pannel was for production only and not part of the original decor of the room.
Just seems weird to have a blue solid panel like that in an hotel room.

But I can totally be wrong
