I honestly think getting the first 1-1 is not favorable in general IMO. Maybe it didn't impact him if he is the F1, but there is so much time before the next 1-1 (Ep.6 at the earliest) that there is potential for the relationship to stall while the others progress IMO. Also the first couple of weeks are so drama-focused that they cut into the 1-1 time while airing IMO. I could be wrong but I thought Peter-Rachel's date segment was shorter in comparison IMO. TPTB could have easily cut down on the DeMario nonsense and given us more of their date IMO.

Good points and IA to some extent but the fact that Peter seems to be on every date or almost every date must be a plus to their relati Nahip. That means there is a chance they spent some time together however little on those group dates before his episode 7 second 1 on 1

It was over 11 minutes. In comparison, JP/Ashley's first date took was shown for less than 5 minutes. I don't know what the average was, but as a Peter/Rachel fan, I'm very satisfied with the amount that we did see.

Do we know if Peter received any group date roses? That could have earned them some extra alone time?

I was satisfied with the amount we saw, the length and the content was more than I personally thought we'd get. My fear isn't that their relationship will stagnate after him getting the first 1-1, but that we'll see very little else until week 7, and that's more about editing. AllJMO.

FWIW, Peter gets a hot start from the early 1-1, from there, even if they just maintain an average connection, we know he made it to the final 2. So any stalled relationship would be expedited in those last few weeks. IIRC, he has the last 1-1 before coming back to America which means that he gets basically 4 dates all in a short amount of time to close. The advantage for Bryan is getting the FIR, letting the relationship simmer, but then getting your 1-1 late and just rapidly continuing throughout the rest of the process. I think that could be where the difficulty in making the decision was. All JMO

I'm always reminded of the picture from the spelling bee date where they are on the boat and Rachel is doing the titanic thing with him behind her and hand on the railing in front. All the other guys were away from them and they seemed to be having their own moment. I feel like even if its not shown they probably did have lots of moments together.

Something that I've picked up based on Rachel's interviews and even in the show is the constant saying of: It's a Season of Firsts.


It seems to be the main theme of this season IMO and I think it's a huge clue, just going off of my speculations.

IA that it helps if he is on every GD since then but it's still not the same like getting a 1-1 in Ep. 4 or 5. and then building up on it immediately in Ep. 6 or 7. I think there is a reason the frountrunners normally get those dates. The drama is also reduced by then so TPTB even air more of the date. Peter-Rachel's segment was also interrupted by the GD card which took 3-4(?) minutes of airtime.

In this case, I think Peter didn't have anything to worry about coz Rachel is realllyy into him but in general I think it's unfavorable to get the first 1-1. Too many relationships can progress rapidly while you are waiting around IMO.

First impression rose, first one on one, first season they will show a romance story? Who knows with these people?
And tgey all keep saying its a really good season

Titanic seems to be Peter's thing IMO. From the hashtags, I guess that's the old 'Rose' IMO.
