I guess they are snowbirds.... This helps me understand how it wasn't as difficult as I'd expected for Vanessa to agree to come to the states....she'd already seen a model of how time could be split between the two countries. I admit at the time her willingness came as a surprise to me, although for nick I'm sure it was a welcome one... Guess editing made things seem so much less navigable....jmo

Vanessa was out with friends and family last night and Nick was eating out with friends. I love that they are giving us a glimps of what they are up to, and I can't wait for the reunion - hopefully next Tuesday.

Did someone say that Vanessa only gets 6 out of 12 months in the states without a work visa? I can see her being there for awhile working on her first Fund Raiser.

Yeah, I get the feeling she is going to be in Canada atleast until July. That's my thought anyways. She has that big fundraiser in July and she has skirted around the answer everytime someone has asked her recently about the living situation. I definitely think she's going back to LA, but I think she's staying up there for a while to work on No Better You and to burn her days. Plus, Nick said he'd be back and forth. Why would he need to be back and forth if she wasn't planning on being there for a while?

I'm guessing she will take ALL her things with her after this visit and make the real move to the states and we couldn't be happier to have her!!

If we knew the date of that SM pic of Vanessa with all the luggage, that would have been her first day of 180 days that she is allowed from Jan to Dec 2017.

Then from the day she left the US and she landed in Canada, the days stop accumulating.

When she returns, the US days start to accumulate again. She probably has the rest of the year planned out because there's holidays to consider, TG, Xmas, etc. She'll want to make sure she has days available if she's going home for that, plus for her charity.

You really need an excel sheet to keep track because it's all automated at the boarder crossings so they know you're every move.

Yep, I can understand that one! Was in the process of doing that last year at this time. That's why I don't buy new cars every other year!

@MonicaJM2001 so sweet! That to me shows Nick and V's connection is also based in friendship and spending time with each other and really enjoying each other's company - something which is so crucial IMO to a healthy relationship. I can't wait to see Nick with V in Monreal and seeing the sights and being with her family filled with love and good food. I loved how Vanessa said in her recent interview that her g-ma gave Nick food to take with him when he was on her HTD and how much Nick loved it and loves Vanessa's cooking. So adorable

@AllAboutLove I also am looking forward to Nissa taking on Montreal together. She gets to have the Sunday family get together for the first time in a while tomorrow and then most likely Nick can join her the following Sunday.

I personally would never let Vanessa go. She's just the total package. There's something very motherly about her. A kind heart, but also strong minded.
