Married At First Sight - Season 5 - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

The 6 of them are really calling out production on twitter. They are setting the record straight everytime the editing makes things out to be something it is not.

For example, they made it seem like Ashley had quit the game because she sucked at it. In reality she beat Anthony and they stopped playing because they were told to stop. Anthony says that they can count on frankenbite at least a couple of times an episode. Cody had gotten news that a family member was at death's door but editing made it out like it was something else. Sheila's frustration with the producer was shown on the show. She tweeted that it's hard enough to make marriage work when you have producers manipulating and instigating issues.

These MAFS Season 5 participants are some of the most vocal that I have seen on both SM and on The Unfiltered episodes in regards to
Calling out all of the Production interference and editing that misrepresents them and their relationships. Personally, I applaud them for it. I love "A squared" and Nate and Sheila's relationships in particular and hope these are permanent, long-lasting marriages for both couples. I wonder about the future of the show now --I noticed that they are still asking people to apply for Season 6 in Boston. It makes me wonder how the casting process is going now.

The show would be interesting without the Frankenbites and manipulation. Also, in Season 1 it seemed that everyone got a little down time. The taping seems to have increased.

I wondered how long they would be able to keep quiet. Cody and Danielle seemed to be that way from the beginning. I haven't check their SM in a while so I don't know what they've been saying lately.

This show keeps me interested because of the whole concept, but the editing is enough to make you pull your hair out IMHO.

I just caught up last epi.

Nate's mother needs to get over it. She needs to either support her son or stay out of it. She appears to be a very needy person thinking of herself and not her son. Sheila seems to have patience with her which is good. I like how open Sheila and Nate are, especially when they were at the wine tour. He seems very genuine in his comments to her. Her attitude towards the end showed me she can turn on a dime. I'm not sure if it was the edit, what her problem was, but she was nasty.

Anthony kills me. I love his sense of humour. I'm not sure what it is about Ashley but she seems to make an issue out of nothing. Worrying about embarrassing herself seems so petty while playing bags.

Corey and Danielle's storyline is boring me with the lack of sex issue. They seem to get along, they seem to want things to work out, but there's this big dark cloud over them.

Corey can be iffy, sometimes he seems to hold things back and other times he is reassuring that he wants the marriage to work. The edit was so choppy when they were at the river, it was impossible to understand what they were talking about.

I do think they will all stay married. Corey and Danielle were the only couple that are sitting apart from each other during the preview of Do you want to stay married.

Ashley was pretty vocal during the Unfiltered segment that the whole bag toss incident was highly edited. She said that she was actually winning and that they stopped because the producers made them stop. She was actually flabbergasted by the edit, and in Twitter, Anthony supported her on this.

It seems they are trying to create drama with Anthony and Ashley where there really aren't any real issues.

I just caught up on last night's epi.

As much as I enjoyed this season, Cory and Danielle's backstory is getting old. Sheila's outburst when she argues is very annoying. I liked her in the beginning until she turns into a lunatic. I'm not one to yell and scream at all, so that behaviour is very much off putting for me. I like Nate. I think he's sincere and wants the marriage to work.

Anthony is just a sweetheart. He has a great sense of humour. They are cute together.

I wish all three couples well. I'm looking foward to decision day!!

This coming Thursday night is decision day and then the reunion is next week -- I can't believe that the season is almost over! However, I am happy for the participants -- they have had to wait almost a year to be able to publicly open about whether or not they are still married or not. That is a long time to make them wait. Heard any info about Season 6 in Boston?

I'm looking forward the the decision day and the reunion! I have not come across anything about Boston, but I haven't had the time to snoop around.

Crap I'll be on vacation when the finale airs!! Welp guess I'll have to check in here to see the results and have to catch up on DVR when I get back.

I already have an idea of how the decisions will be and looking forward to seeing if I'm correct or not.
