The network’s top-rated show’s renewal was confirmed by the network, and, additionally, a spinoff series of the hit program was announced last month. The spinoff, Married at First Sight: Second Chances will feature David Norton and Vanessa Nelson from season 3 as they give their search for love another try. Enjoy the season 3 finale, which is yet to come on October 25, 2016 and a reunion special that is set to broadcast on November 1, 2016. FYI’s docuseries that pronounces couples legally wed on their initial meeting is headed back to the altar. The cable net has greenlighted a fifth season of Married at First Sight, set this time in Chicago and premiering next year. The Season 4 finale airs Tuesday night, with a reunion special set for November 1.

In Season 5 of Married at First Sight, singles from the Chicago area will be matched by a panel of relationship experts, who will choose what they believe are three compatible couples. The couples will not meet until they walk down the aisle and see each other face-to-face, for the first time, at the altar. After several weeks together, each couple must make a decision: Do they remain together or decide to divorce?

The popular dating reality TV series, "Married At First Sight" Season 5 will become more appealing as it continues to enrich the viewers with new storyline. MAFS experts are now looking into Chicago's single men and women who are ready to find love in the most unexpected way.

Following the end of the "Married At First Sight" Season 4, the remaining couples, Tom-Lillian, Nick-Sonia were courageous enough to continue being married to their spouse. After 6 months off cam, the couples faced the experts and revealed they are still married, Gamenguide reports.

Although "Married At First Sight" Season 5 is just starting on the production, there are already reports leaking online. MAFS expert, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, revealed that there will be major changes in the coming season of the series.

For one, "Married At First Sight" Season 5 matchmaking will be more scientific and more intuitive. Applicants are now required to answer questions on openness, and to submit photos of their past lovers to help experts in perceiving the applicants' likes and dislikes in a mate, New York Post reports.
Second, Married At First Sight Season 5 will be filming an eight-week social experiment, instead of the original six-week marriage test. The experts are looking into improving the marriage lives of the couples, and to give them the much more needed time to be alone and work things out off cam.

The production team of "Married At First Sight" Season 5 is looking into diversifying the show. Because of this, reports are now circulating that an NBA star is secretly joining the applicants to find the love of his life. The MAFS experts have not yet released any statement, but they promise that the show will have a different tone.
