He got recruited and decided to do it a week before because he found out it was Jo. I think he probably enjoyed his life of casual flings a lot and didn't want to settle down but obviously liked the potential enough to give it a chance.

And, IMO, the exposure was good for his broadcasting career.

He had already been approached for the job before the show.  I'm not all that sure the crap that RS and the rag mags spewed helped his exposure, but it didn't do enough damage that ESPN/SEC Network wanted to sever ties.

Yup, he pretty much had the SEC Network job before he went on the show. In fact, one of the big guys at ESPN wasn't thrilled that he was doing it. He was officially offered the position long before the show even finished airing, so that exposure didn't do anything for him IMO. It almost hurt him. 

He got that job on his own.

Exactly. ESPN even went so far as to say they didn't want him to do the show, it actually could have hurt more than helped his chances with the job.

He's a former SEC quarterback, was drafted a few years in NFL (even if he didn't play- he was still drafted & paid), is articulate, spent years learning / talking about the sport, ***IMO***does well on the camera, easy on the eyes, well spoken,  it's inevitable he got it. He's the perfect candidate for the position. **EDITED** it's ESPN not some radio show in Nashville..They're not going to hire someone off the streets. His interview process was most likely extensive. IMO


Eta: if you listen to him talk, he knows his stuff. **IMO**

His brother is Aaron freaking Rodgers. So yeah, I'm guessing he really understands the game.

Go to You Tube and listen to Katie Nolan's Garbage Podcast. It's my fave interview of him. He was beaming the entire time!

I'm kidding, girl. But come on ... Pack at the Super Bowl and you know Jordan and fam will be there with JoJo if they reconcile. They'll prob even be on the field after The Pack wins... and once Brady and co schlep off to the locker room. 

The Pack isn't going anywhere unless Defense steps up their game!

And in that interview where he was asked about his aggressive makeout against the wall. There was a point where he was like beaming and leaning off his chair, then he caught himself and tried to put on a more serious face Love looks good on him.

I agree with everyone's sentiments here that you could not help but admire his way with words and articulate his thoughts very clearly. As Jenny McCarthy said in her interview of him, "he is very well-spoken and she can believe that he belongs to the broadcasting field as he found his niche".
