Bachelor 22 - Speculation - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - Discussion

As much as I would like Peter all season on my tv, he has a rough road on all accounts if he is chosen.
My fave would be Wells.  He is smart and funny, easy on the eyes and of an age that we wouldn't have a lot of very young women on the show.
Also would like Alex for the same reasons.  Eric is a cutie but maybe a little youngish despite his age.
Because I like these guys it will end up being Waboom!

P.S. My dark horse each season is Bryan Osborne.

IMO SM has turned the show into such a crapfest while it's airing that I find it increasingly difficult to root for my favs to be the next lead. The horrendous, ugly comments left on the contestants/leads SM pages when people don't know them IRL is seriously off-putting to me. I love snarking here but I have never left a single negative comment on anyone's page (including Josh Murray who I seriously hate) and I know it's the same for many here.

I like Alex, Eric and Will but I just don't want that for them if they become the lead next season. So my wish is that the next Bachelor is someone who I don't care for or someone I am neutral about. From the look of things, I am going to get my wish.

It seems production really likes Ben Z. He'll probably get a favorable edit on BIP. They invited him to the MTA. I think he's a serious contender JMO

Normally I'd pass on Ben 2.0, but given the choice between Rachel's top guys and Ben.  I'm firm on team Ben 2.0.  Least we could have some fun snarking on will he pick a Lauren 2.0, say I love you to all of his top contenders, etc.

I'm actually so ready for a Peter season. So much snark potential with his terrible acting skills, gossip potential with all this (overhyped, but still) tea RS promises to deliver, and I'm so excited for what the Peter fanatics will say when he's making out all the time, throwing out ILYs like they're going out of style, and happily proposing to his girl at the end. IMO.

@Aria I'm trying to get there, but I'm just not sold yet.

No. No. I want a season of light fun. Easy banter.

I don't think that Peter would be a very good lead. I don't think his opinions/feelings about engagement/marriage are a good match for this show's process or premise. I also think he would be a really boring lead. Since Bryan is possibly the F1 I would say Eric. If Bryan isn't the F1 I would think he would be automatic with his looks and charm. Neither guy is afraid to propose after short time frame which gives TPTB the ending that they always want. I know a lot of you like Peter, I like him as a person, I just don't think he would make a very good lead or choice for Rachel. Just my $0.02.
