I noted this from her friend/colleague in the IG comments:

annachilli @kelseyguice its ok, Vanessa actually calmed me down, . She is currently working on her foundation #nobetteryou and our students are all part of it. It's very exciting. Yes, Vanessa DOES have a beautiful soul. Her heart was raised to be good and her siblings are just like her, gold.

I didn’t know this, but it should mean that there is work for her in Montreal in the coming months. I am very curious about where they will settle down after DWTS. NY would be great.

I was there for one night last year with Hubby. Very expensive, but if special memories last a lifetime, worthy every penny.

I think it's so awesome and smart that she seems to be surrounding herself with visitors/friends/family while Nick is busy practicing. She has a good support system!

^^Yes. I like that she's there for Nick when he needs it but also has her own thing going on. She's really adjusting to the changes in her life just fine from what I can tell.

 it reminds me of the convo Vanessa had with Nick's sister Maria where V talked about not wanting to put pressure on the relationship by depending soley on Nick if she left her family & friends in Montreal.  Maria told V to ask questions/talk to Nick about it.  They appear to have worked out a nice balance.
I've also noticed that whenever she's out with friends the activity is always lowkey. She's rarely in fan pics aside from the 2 days with Jen at Disney.  Nick isn't in fan pics much either except for in MKE with Vanessa at the game/event and at DWTS.
