Does he have enough of a fanbase to be the lead or the right edit to be lead?

^^ I'd say both. But it also depends on what the producers feel like doing. They seem to listen to fans a bit, but in the end they pick who they want I think. If they continue giving Eric a good edit like he had this week, he has a good chance. Just depends if they already like Peter for the role. jmo.

From what I remember last season Rachel had a small fan base and she became the lead. Eric has a compelling story. He didn't receive love as a child. He's never been in love. Rachel is helping him believe he can find love. He'd be the first MOC to be Bachelor.

The only thing bad about Eric's edit was when he questioned if Rachel was being genuine and his frustration about a few of the guys telling Rachel he wasn't a good choice for her. I think his edit is going to improve over the next few episodes as we see his relationship with Rachel grow stronger.

I think he's definitely a contender JMO

I just don't see him as that charismatic. If wanting a MOC, I would think Will or Josiah would be better choices just from a personality perspective. Maybe he will grow on me in the next few weeks. He does come across mature despite his young age.

Right now, I like Eric best.

Honestly, if a MOC isn't chosen as a Bachelor lead this season, I don't see the show ever having a MOC lead in the future, IMHO. Eric is definitely not the most popular man from this season but he is one of the most popular MOC. Will has a racial preference that would not endear him to most POC and Josiah seems a little too cocky, IMHO.

Once again--Eric you look fine with that beard. Love it! IMO honestly with that beard he is the handsomest of the final 3. I love it.

He looks wayyyyy better than Will and Josiah. He was best looking MOC out of the bunch that was there, then Kenny. JMO

Eric it so handsome without a beard, but he is even more handsome with a beard. imo

I am biased because I've always liked men with beards, but Eric with a beard is :hearts love:
