On the hat with the self promotion alone, I wouldn't rule him out as F1, though it is unusual and more typical of F2 behavior. It's all the other stuff, IMO, that rules him out.

I must say I'm not impressed with this guy so far and I'm kind of surprised he made it as far as he did, since I didn't feel there was much chemistry between him and Rachel. JMO.

It could be as "impressive" as these guys were, they weren't. IMO. It maybe there were really only 1-2 to actually choose from in the end. JMOAA. You still have to have a show either way.

Do we know where he was at during Memorial day weekend? Just keeping all options open.

I just can't get behind this one. The yelling was too much for me. JMO.

Did anyone else hear the guys say to Eric that he was the one with the least relationship experience? That plus his yelling at other guys to get his name out of their mouths says in my opinion he is not her final guy, the one described as having it all together.....

I'm liking Eric more and more. He's such a fish out of water in this environment.

I don't judge anyone for what they do in that environment. Being cut off from all communication with family and friends, no books, no music, constantly talking about your relationship with the lead and about the guys/girls in the house can cause anyone to lose their minds IMO.

I hope he doesn't blow a fuse so easily in real life coz that might point to anger issues but on the show where so many people were talking about him constantly and confronting him for no reason IMO, I think it's okay.

I found Eric to be a very perceptive guy. Maybe even perceptive to a fault, and perhaps that's why he had doubts about whether or not Rachel was feeling him. I think his insecurities stemmed from seeing how she was with other guys and he just phrased it the wrong way when he was talking to Anthony. Should he have handled Iggy the Instigator's questioning better? Probably. Should he have not yelled? Yeah. But was he within his right to defend himself and get frustrated when what he said was misinterpreted and twisted into "wrong motives"? Absolutely.

I also think he's perceptive because he knew there was snake in Lee's DNA. Lee was telling him "I love you, I love you" and Eric got this look in his face like he knew Lee was f*cking with him.

I wouldn't say he's my favourite guy from the season, but I do feel a little more defensive of him than I do anyone else so far....
