It's nice to see DM giving credit to members of this forum and linking to this forum especially since they didn't do so for all the years past where they have 100% taken info from this forum since the days of Bach AUS S2 where the F1 was sleuthed before the finale to be Sam F and the DM even used the same screenshots in their articles from this forum 

Now if only other outlets can follow suit this season (looking at you Mamamia website after lifting an entire forum post about F1 first kiss music) 

One part of the article that cracks me up is when DM posts they have reached out to Ten Network for comment about the sleuthing for Laura possibly being F1. As if Ten is going to reply

Just another clue for Laura to be possible F1. F1 for past recent seasons shown stepping out limo third. As noted above in the SC, Laura's heels are shown third out the limo. If DM know who the winner is they likely will use other ways to point towards F1 and so far they really seem to be pushing Laura and many clues from the forum too. Since DM posted about Laura and info from this thread, Laura has deleted all her pics on her personal IG.

In previous Bachelor and Bachelorette seasons, the winner appears as the third individual in the teaser trailer, with the runner-up also getting airtime.

In the latest promo, Laura emerges third, keeping with the trend of past winners.

Last year's series of The Bachelorette with Georgia Love was no different with Matty J stepping out of the limo second and winner Lee Elliott next in line.

The theory has also been proven true in both Richie Strahan and Sam Frost's seasons of the popular TV dating franchise

March 7 - Laura BTS on GD - doing an interview it seems. Reminds me of Alex who was also shown doing similar for BTS pics for GD like this one.

These BTS pics from March 10 of Matty on his SD with Laura are the only ones where I see interest from Matty towards a contestant and smiling like this. Still have her penciled in for F1 atm...

Was just going through the BTS pics of the boxing group date and there are several of Laura's "message board" where she wrote about her biggest fear being letting her guard down and risking falling in love with someone who won't love her back (paraphrasing).  Here she is holding it face out (so it can "accidentally" be photographed by the media) and then another pic of it being carried in an even more obvious manner by a crew member.

There are no shots of the other girls' boards and no apparent attempt to show them off in the same manner as Laura's.  This all seems suss to me - IMO they are trying to draw attention to Laura's backstory which I'm guessing will be that she's had a broken heart in the past and is scared to open up but she will let her walls down so she and Matty can mend their broken hearts together and yada yada yada.  Classic F1 storyline, IMO.

@Bobette yeah that feels very suss to me too.... Their possible story...literally written on a storyboard... crew/producer holding it to boot

I know right?  It's like they told Laura to hold it that way but then were worried the paps hadn't got a good enough shot so the crew member held it in an even more awkward manner to be sure they got the message.  She may as well have held it up and pointed at it ala Andrew Lincoln at the end of Love Actually.

That's exactly what I was thinking! Very suss and for all I know, maybe inspired by Love Actually itself! (I had to re-read that since it sounded like Love Actually itself, not just the movie! A literal/figurative sign?  )  It really does feel a little too obvious/intentional. Then again, many F1s seem too obvious (especially early in the season, even pre-season).... I'm keeping my eye out though just in case something is amiss...

Totally agree! I feel like I'm seeing things very clearly at the moment - need to keep reminding myself of all this when the season starts and I get bamboozled by all their mind games and editing tricks. Must..... resist....
