I first met Nick three years ago, and man, have we come a long way since then. Ups and downs and ins and outs. But through and through, he's always been the same, except he is better looking now. He used to be a 6 but now he's an 8.5. Beards help. Anyway, I really do love him. He's the best combo of sensitive and honest all wrapped into one. And then Vanessa walked into our lives. She's a firecracker. Full of like and energy and feelings and all the good and some of the crazy things. She's a great match for Nick. Honestly, I was never quite ready to say goodbye to Nick and let him be off the market, but if I had to let him be with someone, I'm glad it's someone as great as Vanessa. I love them both and wish them both the best. Good luck. Be good to each other.

That tells me a lot.

That proposal was the most amazing moment and everything I could have hoped for and more. Nick wasted no time indicating his choice when he pulled Vanessa to him into that tight embrace I think even she was surprised at no suspense . His words and then her words were so beautiful and heart felt (IMO) I completely have faith these two totally and completely love each other and will give it all they have to figure out logistics and make it work. Jimmy Kimmel is about to come on so gotta go watch!

For those wondering about why V's family was there and not Nick's... 

IMHO, this was Nick's decision and to let V's family get to shine and have their moment after all his own has been through this before and V's family being so large I think he wanted V to have that spotlight and her family too.

You can see more of V's IG posts in her thread here show why this is the case, IMO, and as the saying goes, a photo says a thousand words 

imo After watching ATFR their relationship dosen't look to promising.Then again the couples that I think will make it never do & the ones I don't think will make it end up staying together/married/kids Good luck to N & V I hope they make it.
