They shouldn't need much time with Raven because I can't imagine there's much drama involved. The fans of the couple always seem to feel they've been shortchanged but I feel an hour is plenty of time for all. JMO

I guess that is historic although not earth shattering. I like it better than a wedding at the ATFR which is ill advised for anyone imo.

Probably to drum up interest for her and her season.  Nothing against her, she has plenty of fans that seem happy about her being cast, but it hasn't been an overwhelming, OTT reaction, IMO.

Why does it seem like tptb have been trying to detract attention away from the couple all season and they seem really eager to shift attention to Rachel at every turn? that's 3 months to wait for the bette premiere which is a very long time...

Meh. I hope they won't waste too much time on it, especially if they won't even name the guys or anything. Pointless. JMO.

Guess I'm not seeing how this is any different than the norm.  They generally do especially if they have no faith in the couple or are unhappy with them, their time is even shorter, IMO.  Not saying TPTB feel either of the above mentioned ways about N/V, but for many seasons now the sole focus of the AFTR has not be totally on or about the happy couple.  JMO

After having seen a photo of producers working on a storyboard for the next season while the current season was still going on, I think this is where the concern is--the next season. Ratings and viewership.
Rachel is literally 150K+ followers down in SM compared to the other 3 or 4 ahead of her. She needs rocket fuel. I think the antics to get viewers will be crazy this season coming up. More importantly, have TPTB already staked out or(staked out ) TB candidates for next fall.

IIRC our timekeeper @Kashathediva recorded 6-7 minute's of the happy Bachelorette 10 and her F1 and about the same for the happy Bachelorette 11 and her F1. Bachelorette 12 and her F1 had to sit through several minutes of gruelling CH's insistence of prying information about a certain brother. We can IMO say the same about them that TPTB were taking away time from them.

I will be interested in the time score for tonight to see just how much time they are adding or taking away for Nick and Vanessa.

I will try to break down the timing tonight. I will have a 3 yr old guest that I hope will be asleep by then.

Agree. Support has been more intellectualized rather than emotional. Not enough excitement IMO.

There's still time for people to get interested in Rachel's season imo. I still think she was by far the best choice for Bachelorette. I'm excited to get a professional woman who's not young like 2 of the f4.

I think this is an interesting thing to do, especially if Rachel really doesn't know it's happening. She won't be prepared with her game face (like she will be at limo exits), so you might see some genuine reaction.

Will be interesting to see how the guys that they intro tonight will place in her season. Will they preview the 'contenders' or the 'clowns'?
