Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #7

Lauren's blog is honestly terrible IMO. It's so generic, She does the bare minimum beauty wise, her fashion sense is ok but I wouldn't take style advice from her, and her travel is so uninteresting. The color scheme of the blog is unbelievably dull IMO. As for beauty, all she really does is lists the stuff she uses. Tell me why you use the products you do, talk to me about the ingredients and the effects etc on your skin, talk about some good alternatives, what products to splurge on & what to save on etc. When you travel, do things out of the box, experience the culture, find hidden treasures etc to put your readers on to. Yes, she gets free travel and that's success to some (maybe her) but the product she puts out is not good IMO and that's the true test of success IMO. I think she relies more on her bachelor fame to get readers rather than to actually put the work in. All JMO.

Does anybody know why Lauren is still in Portland and Ben is back in Denver?

My guess would be that Ben has to work.

Comments finally got to Lauren. She made an IG story saying she is going to turn her comments off for a while, because she can't take the negativity anymore. Before she posted/did that she replied to Becca's comment saying "I love you haha. TBH I laugh at most of these comments while I sit here eating a PB ice cream bar not giving AF." She then deleted the comment. She was also defending herself and Ben under his most recent post about the new Disney special. It's about damn time she turns her comments off IMO!

It's good she has turned off the comment section.IMO she has developed pretty thick skin by now . She has tolerated comments which are way more harsher than the one she had today . IMO its more so to do with heated/name calling arguments between people who were either defending or bashing her. IMO now she needs to start blocking them.

I just don't get it. If you don't like someone than why is it hard to just unfollow/block them . It must be exhausting to keep up with their every move just to bully them or leave rude comments. Just thinking about it makes me tired . JMO

People can be so mean, I don't get it too. Me saying something here, is different to insulting someone on their SM accounts which they might read.

That's a good idea! I do wonder why she gets it so bad? She's not my cup of tea, but she comes across as relatively normal and sweet.

I do think for whatever reason Ben has a huge following, they view him as perfect, and maybe they don't want him with Lauren? Most of these contestants/couples have a few trolls that comment every time, but Lauren gets it bad.

Let's all blame the victim now for the bullying. There is no excuse for some of the hatred she receives. I know, I know, they all sign up for this. At some point the SM generation should take a hard look at the culture it breeds. So easy to be hateful and hurtful sitting behind a computer screen.

The last comment on Lauren's work out post before she decided to turn the comments off was "She's not a woman. 0 curves." Comments like that, she was receiving very often. As I said, it was about time she turned the comments off. I find Lauren to be annoying a lot of the time now, but I recognize the nasty uncalled for commentary she gets about her body on pretty much a daily basis. It's not right, fair, healthy, etc. IMO.
