Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #7

As a Disney addict I'm loving Lauren's Disney snaps right now! I think this is a great opportunity for them. So fun! I'm jealous, I'd LOVE to have this gig.  I think they must be feeling a little more optimistic about their future if they agreed to host a wedding show. I'd MUCH rather see them jump on an opportunity like this (good for them) than subjecting themselves to relationship scrutiny in the form of HEA Seaspn 2 or whatever.

@Lennoxcolinrolland i think mariah carey and nick cannon got married at either disney world/ land. Honestly disney world is my dream wedding location .

Engagements at Disney are much, much more common.

Ha! No way they could make series out of that then IMO. Engagements aren't that interesting IMO.

I wanted a Disney wedding SO BADLY and got vetoed by my husband and family.  I had to settle for my Disney engagement instead. Haha

Disney wedding, what a great idea. I knew people get engaged but didn't realize they have actual weddings. I love Disney World and would love to attend a family members wedding there.

There are reasonable packages available considering it includes 100 guests. Pretty reasonable IMO considering around my area a big Italian wedding is upwards $50,000.

This sounds like a fun opportunity. At least it doesn't involve TPTB from this franchise.

^^ Yes. I looked into it. You can get married at multiple locations (not in Magic Kingdom). The wedding pavilion  at Grand Floridian which is right across 7 Seas Lagoon from Magic Kingdom (and GORGEOUS) is the most common place. But they have other locations too. Disney weddings are common and a real thing. They can be VERY pricey though - some reasonable if you have very limited guests. 

Do we know if this is a one time special or like on going? I love this kind of opportunity for Ben and Lauren. Much better gig than relationship scrutiny part II via HEA.

I wonder if they get a discount for their own wedding as part of the deal? or even a freebie? That would be cross promotion at it's best.

I got married in Disney and it really is worth all the hype...you get what you pay for, I guess.

I've gotten the impression from that recent interview they just gave, plus their general vibe that they are in a better place. They recently said they feel ready now to actually make plans. We have to remember Ben cancelled the initial wedding back in September, going on 7 months ago. Things change, things progress. They had to agree to this wedding show to begin with, and I don't think she (they) would if things were so tumultuous and iffy between them. IDK. Time will tell. Personally, I think they are getting back on track.

I guess reality steve's sources were wrong about them and their relationship huh? Or maybe they weren't wrong and they are just pretending? I'm a bit confused about them.....but I do think Ben was really smart about putting the wedding off. It was too soon and if he wasn't ready the worst thing he could've done was get married too soon. IMO
