Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #7

I have no idea what his plans are, but hopefully he's not giving up his day job. All of this stuff is fleeting, so I do think it's important that one of these people in these relationships from this show have some sort of steady job with a steady income. 

I'm all for doing what they want, blogs included. I just can't help but laugh and joke about these people who have blog launch parties, talk about how much hard work it is, etc. and then they barely actually put the work in and barely update it. It's so silly. JMO

The first thing that came to my mind is a DIY type of blog.

I think this might be a tie in to his blog. He's setting it up with his good friends that run Humanity and Hope, I believe. Ben is now a chair on that board. Perhaps this will be the focus of his blog.

Lauren may have been behind with her blog posts before due to whatever reasons .But since last 6/7 weeks ,she has been updating her blog with either one or two posts every week on Wednesday most of the time , as she had mentioned on her instagram .

Yeah, and I just looked, and they're pretty short and something I could write up in 20 minutes, but that's just my opinion. I can appreciate someone like Ali Fedtowsky who updates hers very frequently (daily), puts a lot of effort into them, and does the ads on the blog for a variety of people. 

Also, from what I see, it looks like it's only be the past two-three weeks where she's updating it a few times a week. One post a week in March isn't what I call a blogger, but how successful she wants to be with it is her prerogative.

The ones from April 7th and April 6th are literally one paragraph long.

Of all the Bach alums that have come out of the franchise in recent times (past 5 years or so), whose blog can we actually deem as successful? I as well wouldn't call Lauren's blog a success. But if she's getting free trips because of the blog, then maybe it's a success, because she's always traveling?

If Lauren is receiving free products and travel incentives then I'd call her blog a success. Plus, success to one person is not what another would call success. It's all in the eye of the beholder. Only lauren herself knows how successful she is with her blogging. Some people are ok with once a week posting, while others want to post every day. I, myself, would have nothing to talk about so I'd be like her and prob post once a week. Lol Who knows! She seems to be happy with it at the moment anyways.

I wonder what Ben is up to. I'm sure it ties into humanity and hope somehow.

I saw Nick retweet that and thought it was nice of him to do so. I like seeing people supportive of each other's endeavors - whether big or small - and root for their success. Whatever Ben's blog is, I hope it does well

This is the first I've heard of this. Is this his new blog I wonder?

Higgins is working on opening a for-profit coffee company,

@GuardianAngel it was posted somewhere, but I can't seem to find the link anywhere. He talked about it at the BYC charity event. It is a coffee company called Generous I think, and it was a joint venture with some friends that might also involve H&H.
