Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #7

Tons of people started blogs so Lauren started a blog. Tons of bloggers have YouTube channels so Lauren wants to start a YouTube channel. Which blogger trend is she going to be two years behind on next?

I just don't understand the obsession with blogging. Is this the safest and easiest route for these Bachelor alums?

I actually think IG shilling can be more profitable than blogging but you risk nobody taking you seriously of you overdo it.

I think it's just slightly more respectable than IG shilling, since it takes a bit more work and is considered an actual profession these days. A no-brainer for anyone with model looks and a modicum of fame I guess.

What's another blogger or youtuber that doesn't put any effort into it. She's not the only one. It must be the in thing to do along with youtube launch parties.

Who knows, maybe she'll surprise everyone then she'll have others trying to compete with her.

Ben and Lauren should hire JJ to rep for them. LOL

Bloggers can make bank from affiliate links. If you click on a link to the product they post, it puts a cookie on your computer and they make money on ANY purchase you make from that website for 30 days. I recommend clearing your cookies before making purchases so your not letting people profit from your shopping.

I listened to Lauren's fb live thing. While she said she and Ben are engaged, she also stated due the the nature of the show, that basically means they are "dating." JJ also said they were "dating" on RS. To me this marks a huge scale back from how they used to talk. They used to be adamant they were engaged and never really referred to themselves as just dating. Also noteworthy, cause at one time they actually HAD a wedding date.

Yeah, they have problems...

I hate to compare them to other couples (or compare people in general) but when she said she was too busy to plan a wedding right now, I immediately thought of Kaitlyn and Shawn.
I don't think they are having a wedding anytime soon. Last time (during the facebook interview with Ben CMIIW) they said they will start planning in February, now it's a few days short of March and she says she doesn't have time for it right now.

Busy??? If traveling to Nashville with Bach friends, Las Vegas, and LA is busy then I guess so. She could still do all of that and plan a wedding. I just hate the way they keep beating around the bush. Just say we wanted to get married but now we want to get to know eachother more. That's basically what Ben wanted in that therapy session during HEA. It's so obvious Lauren does what Ben wants.
