"The Amazing Race" season 29 is finally airing on CBS next year after it was axed by the network from its Fall 2016 lineup. Unfortunately, the multi-Emmy Award-winning reality series, which usually delivers two seasons in a year, might have to air only one season in 2017. Some talks claim that season 30's possible clash with another hit reality show of CBS is hindering it from getting its green light.

Fans of "The Amazing Race" expressed their disgust when CBS canceled the series' season 29 earlier this year. CBS had then been keeping mum on the reason behind the show's delay which had the fans worrying about the future of the family-friendly series. The network though has broken its silence as it recently announced that it is not canceling the show and that it is already scheduled for premiere on April 21, 2017. Furthermore, CBS revealed that "TAR" will return to its usual Friday time slot at 8 p.m. The network has dropped more surprise for fans as it announced a two-hour premiere special.

The only other reality shows CBS has are Survivor and BB and they have aired both Survivor and AR during the same fall/spring seasons ... just on different days. BB is on in the summer. Now admittedly they had that fall online edition of BB, but how would that interfere with AR?

They need to stop messing with this show. It's one of my favourites. Thank goodness we have AR Canada.
