Big Brother - Season 19 - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Okay so...

Feeds were down yesterday for over 10 hours while they played the Temptation Competition. Cody won safety and Jessica lost so she automatically went on the block. They (J/C) actually planned for that to happen so one was safe and the other could play POV with no chance of a back door.

Josh nominated Mark and Elena. (With Jess as third nom)

Josh also decided he wants Elena out. Except for Christmas everyone is not too keen on that idea.  They want Jess out.

At the POV player pick today Cody's name was drawn. Christmas used her Ring of Replacement temptation and replaced him with herself in the comp.

Mark won POV.

That's where we stand now. Not sure if Josh will get what he wants this week but Thursday is a long way away.

I don't follow the live feeds, but there is a spoiler site that types out a lot of the stuff that is being said and done during the live feeds, and I have read some of them.

Question.  Does anyone know exactly what Cody supposedly did or does for a living, that is if he is still employed?  I ask because I read a synopsis of a live feed conversation where Christmas said that Cody doesn't even have a working truck back home.  On that site I also read a conversation between Cody and Jessica (before she left), and they were talking about what a power couple they were and that they would go down in BB history as one of the best BB couples of ALL TIME!!!  

And what exactly is or was Jessica's real job?  If her bosses are watching any of the BB episodes or live feeds, I would be surprised if she still has that job now.  She and Cody together are a toxic brew IMO.

And, even in Cody's profile picture where he is smiling, he has those "dead eyes".  His smile does not reflect in his eyes.  To me he looks like this empty shell.  IMO he seemed to bring out the very worst in Jessica, and I don't understand why she would want this guy who is hot-tempered, admits that he has very few friends and is not close to his own family, and who has told her point blank that he can not change who he is, not even for her.

This is the first season of BB that I am not into , to much Paul running the show ,
as far as jobs , unless any of the house guest own their own business ..
I don't know who would have a job to go back to after the season is over .

Not sure what Cody's job is specifically. He is listed as a Construction Sales Rep on the BB website. He could just work in a lumber yard or he goes out on calls. He hasn't gone into detail, that I recall. He did say he thinks it will be easy to get a job in California when/if he moves here to be with Jess. He has a daughter but has never mentioned her mother. I guess his hottie with the body is worth leaving your kid for. Honestly though, I feel sorry for Cody. I think he has issues that stem mostly from his 10 years in the military.

Jessica calls herself a VIP concierge. She makes sure VIP's are happy. She claims to have important connections and can make sure that Paul or anyone else she dislikes don't get invited to celeb events. Who knows. For all I know, she could be a bottle service girl somewhere. Apparently she knows one or both of the twins from BB17 from work. She's also said that she used to date a Seattle Seahawk.

As for Paul, does he need to go? Absolutely. I can't fault the guy for playing the game though. It's his minions fault. They blindly do whatever he says and can't see that he is aligned with every group on the house. He is included in every F4/5 scenario that has been discussed. I'm hoping though that Jessica's eviction speech last night at least planted the seed that he needs to go if anyone wants to win. If not, write the guy the check.

@lipsis I agree about Paul. He irked me last season. But this is a game and he is playing it. The others are allowing him to play theirs thus far. Why? IDK. With each week that passes they build a case for him.
As far as Josh, his irritation has started to grow on me. It's like after awhile his insanity has now crossed a line and it's like water off this insane duck's back. I quack all day now.

I liked Jess better that week Cody left, she was at least fun to watch. Interesting to see if she and Cody stay together post-show.

Paul knows how to play the game for sure! I don't have an issue with him though i hope Alex goes with what she wants to do this week and doesn't take his advice.

I hope Alex can game on her own, too. She does have some potential.
It's an interesting summer for me. I spend an exorbitant amount of time at my daughter's who has after dark or whatever. So I see a lot of 24/7 meatball tv. It's quite entertaining to see the behind the scenes. I like the cast for the most part.

I started DVRing it but have yet to watch

Today in the house.... Alex planned to nominate Mark and Elena with Cody being the back door nominee and Mark as the Plan B option to evict. However...

Mark won safety in the final Temptation Competition of the season.
Matt threw the comp (as planned) so he is the automatic third nominee.
Alex nominated Josh (pawn) and Elena (the new Plan B).

POV comp is tomorrow.

Just got home and I'm piecing together the POV results. It was the one where they pick a prize, some rewards and some punishments. One of the prizes is the Veto. They can steal someone else's, if they wish.

Matt won the Veto. If he uses it on himself, there is no replacement since he was the third nominee.

Mark won a vacation.

Elena took $5000. This has made everyone unhappy since she is a nominee and should be punished send not rewarded.

Jason is in a bright costume with an X on his head and must say "I am so extreme" whenever a horn sounds.

Paul is attached to the houseguest of his choice (Christmas) for 48 hours and they both are dressed as tandem skydivers.

Alex got the worst punishment. She is dressed as a park ranger for the week, she must carry around very heavy equipment and whenever a bugle sounds she must pitch a tent and pass out hot dogs to the others.

As far as I know Matt will use the Veto on one either Jason or Elena (most likely Jason) and Cody will be the back door nominee and presumably going home. They are really mad at Elena though for taking the money while on the block.

Double eviction tonight! Woo hoo! Hope it doesn't disappoint.

Feeds are down until after tomorrow's special episode so I won't know who the 2nd HOH and 2nd set of nominees until after the feeds come back. No clue what the special episode is about. Last year Ziggy Marley visited and they had a mini carnival. Guess we will have to see.

I hope Alex can convince everyone to change their minds about voting out Elena instead of Cody. and then C can win HOH and piss everyone off we need drama!
