holly molly, that's only episode 2! No wonder the showed us none of their interactions besides their 1-on-1 dates and now HTD. It could have been their wedding day right there

I feel the same way about beignets so I get the feeling He really does look at her in a different way than the other women -- not something against the other women, as I think his top four are great in their own right. And I'm glad Sharleen, someone who knows Nick and hangs out with him outside of Bach-related events, noticed it too. I really hope this couple works out so Nick can double-date with Sharleen and Andy instead of being their third wheel.

it's like all in one :hearts love: :perfect: in his 1st season he said something along the lines that he knows a "good relationship", but he wants "great" and finds it romantic to choose the person over and over again (constant choice of wanting to make it work) ... I can see that in his eyes.

I think Nick is so enamored with who Vanessa is in her daily life. The teacher, the daughter/granddaughter, the sister, aunt, niece, etc. Sometimes what works in a relationship is when you admire your partner for all that he/she brings to the table. Nick himself can't believe he found his dream woman. His little head tilt to me is him taking in on what a beauty his sight really is. Is she for real? Yes, Nick she is.

So anyone else notice that Vanessa's been almost a little MIA on social media. I know she posted the same picture as Nick and she posted two other images clearly from the day they filmed her HTD but other than that, she's posted nothing in real time for more than a week now. Just think that's a little odd.

She also has an IG story up of her students in the hallway outside her classroom. They look like a different set of students from the one's in the show, so I think the pic was fairly recent.

For the record, I didn't think she was with Nick or anything (though I can buy they were together at some point last week) but it just feels like she's sort of pulled back a bit in the last week and a half or so with her posting.

Yeah, for sure. I noticed that, too. I can't blame her for pulling back as I'm sure it's difficult to read some of the comments she's been receiving. In the last couple of weeks, the RS rumours and the imdb story made their rounds and people have been mentioning it here and there on SM. Some people are constructive about it, but there are always the vocal few who speak of these incidents as if they were fact, or they like to conveniently omit information, or they embellish to make it sound worse. I also saw some accounts calling her a b!tch, which can't be an enjoyable thing to read. I think the most hurtful I've seen is how she's being accused of exploiting her students. From what I've seen on the show and from what I've seen by her co-workers and her bosses' posts, the school seems like a very tight-knit and loving community. Besides, I'm pretty sure the owners of the school would have had to okay TB filming in the school. That's not a decision Vanessa can make on her own without getting the permission of her bosses and the consent of her students. I thought that was below the belt as it, not only puts her character into question, but it also devalues the way she views her students.

And before anyone says, other leads or other contestants have had it worse.... It still doesn't change anything for Vanessa. Reading that is still hard for someone to read, regardless of how bad someone else had it. A person's experience of a crappy situation doesn't need to be minimized just because someone else had it worse.

JMO but I am pretty sure that 'orange couch' was N&V sneaking around without informing TPTB.  I was rewatching Nissa's scenes from last night and realized that the women who Vanessa introduced as one of her best friends Adriana during HTD is the same friend she was with in the IG story she posted later on 'orange couch' day.

Nick had already met Adriana during HTD and IMO she was helping them sneak over and meet away from the eyes of the world

There are tears here however I think this interaction between Patrick and Vanessa is a beautiful expression of love.  So impressed with how easily Pat explains his emotions, without making it about himself, and his love for her.
