Vanessa liked Ali's IG post with the caption "Couldn't be happier today. Life is good". Seems to me Vanessa is really happy  

Ali is also someone who is good friends with Nick and tweeted about Nick and his fiancee and double date soon. I won't be surprised at all if after all this they do double date and who better for Vanessa to have a support in than Ali while Nick does DWTS and if she visits while there.

Sorry for double post... Nick's mom liked the photo that Nick posted on his IG of him and Vanessa.

Seems to me that she wouldn't be doing that and Vanessa posting and looking happy and liking a post about being happy unless she is happy.

No as far as i have read there is no access to internet or phones. I would think the handlers make sure there is no outside contact for the leads as well as contestants. Mainly to avoid spoilers I would expect. The temptation to message your family would be too much with a phone. Also they want the leads to focus on the process just as much as the contestants, for full drama. Elijah Wood said in his interview that Nick was on 'block' for two months, meaning no contact during filming.
