I appreciate your recap because I didn't get to watch and the video's gone and I was curious as to what happened. I don't think anyone is questioning YOU, I thought you summed up the video as well as can be expected, but IMO it's fair to want to reserve judgement a bit because we didn't see it ourselves. You summed it up based on your perspective but it's also possible that some others might've watched the same thing and gotten a different vibe than you did. All JMO.

It would have been all over the place, if she did.

Rachel did comment on the most recent picture that Vanessa posted on IG. It was very positive I thought. I am not sure how Alexis and Rachel could say that Nick and Vanessa are probably not together. I am sure it is an assumption but that gives away the F1. I would think ABC wouldn't be happy about this.

Thanks for posting! I didn't see the video, but from how you wrote your recap, it sounded pretty objective to me. And, honestly, it made Rachel and Alexis look better than the initial claim that the two women said they "hated" Vanessa. Regardless of what side people are on, I hope we can all agree that coolangel's post cleared up what could've been a messier debate.

The response that Nick and Vanessa are not together could have been literal. Maybe at that moment they were not.

Just another thought I wanted to add to my earlier post.
Personally, I see a very bitter, catty, and immature cast in general. The fact that Rachel is BBF with each one of them make me question Rachel's character and/or her accurate judgment of people. The people you surround yourself with reflect who you really are. All JMO.

Couldn't agree more. This news about what she said on live ig is dissapointing. I did notice Rachel being the big sister/ calming influence for Corrine, Dominique & Jasmine when they were panicking at various times. She has a leader quality about her - but that doesnt mean she is always correct. I have not seen any vulnerability to her during the season - she doesnt seem to be particularly anxious about the other girls which i now see as uber confidence or possibly she had been approached about the bette.
I had tried to like her but something kept bothering me about her - just not sure why. Maybe she needs a gang of people praising her to feel ok. The whole thing with Alexis just sounds so juvenile. I wd also think Alexis will be in trouble for going public about BIP.

She has said that it was after she got home they came and asked her to be the bachelorette, she thought they were feeling sorry for her and did not believe it until they told her it was serious and she took it. They never told her while she was been film for the bachelor. Check the JK film or the GMA film you will see it there.

Just because the show wanted her as the Lead, doesn't mean Rachel knew. IMO.

That's not the real Rachel is it? She changed her name on IG.

It also could be based on the same gossip we've read, from RS and all the so-called "experts" like Afterbuzz saying they won't last if Nick did indeed pick her. In other words, they may know no more than us since they've probably not been in touch with Nick or Vanessa but are assuming based on all the rumors that they won't last.

I would be willing to bet that if TPTB/ABC saw/heard or find out about Rachel and Alexis's IG Live.....there will be a serious talking too. Secrecy is revered and expected by the contracts the cast/lead sign. IMO both women need to learn about discretion. IMO.

I look forward to seeing how they feel after their next reality TV appearance. Positive edits are Not Guaranteed.
