Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #6

I vote let's take a pause and see where Lauren ends up. For all we know she is joining him. And if not, meh. Lots of good reasons detailed why she might not, and also we know they are going though stuff so they are gonna do what they have to do. They just spent 10 whole days together, some filming, most not. That was nice to see. And time will tell.

Do you guys honestly think these two will get married this year? As per that dailymail video of Ben & Lauren, Ben said he was always planning on this year - just feels there is so much missing in their relationship IMO.

I just personally can't imagine a relationship where you're not friends, where spending 5 outta 10 consecutive days is something worth noting and celebrating and you're just so lukewarm towards each other you might as well be strangers IMO. If they're happy with this arrangement, good for them I suppose.

If they're content spending that little time together, they won't make it to the alter. They've been a public couple less than a year, so they should still be in the honeymoon phase. All JMO.

If Ben and Lauren stay together, get married or decide to split...IMO they both should pursue whatever makes them happy and fulfilled in life...whether it be done together or apart.
IMO...Ben and Lauren need time together and time apart to determine if they want forever with each other. They both need to make that decision on their own timeline. In the meantime it is nice they spend time with friends/family who may help give them perspective as they sort these life decisions out.

Lauren is at a birthday party in La I think. I'm still not convinced that their time spent together is genuine. It's hard to say, it seems like it could be just for appearances...the twins show, JJs hockey thing, etc. I think if producers are contracting them to stay "together" until a certain point they would have to keep this up. JMO.

@Seabear IA every couple needs to work through their relationship if they are having issues, in the manner that works for them, whether they were on TV or not IMHO. A lot of breakups are very difficult, some are not. I went through that with my son and his g/friend of many years. It was heartbreaking for me, let alone them. 6 months later and I still couldn't mention her name without tears welling up.

Being on TV makes it that much worse with SM taking sides. We saw another popular couple fake it a few days before it was formally announced. If these two are required to wait until March and have been faking it since Dec, it has to be that much tougher, mentally and physically IMO. If that's the case, I don't blame them for doing whatever they need to do to stay busy.

I just don't think they've been faking since December. They still spent time with both families over Christmas, Lauren has still spent time with Ben in a Denver. Maybe the show *might* make them hold off on announcing. But for MONTHS? I don't see that. Also, holding off on announcing is one thing, but also spending time together is another. I think the more likely scenario is they are having trouble, there is hurt and betrayal there, but they haven't quite thrown in the towel and they are spending time apart and together, determining what is best for them going forward. JMO.

It's different in the Bach world because these people spend time together and officially call it quits even after being seen together. Days, weeks, months as a couple doesn't matter to me because when there are things to speculate there's always something there, IMO. When there isn't it's when things are going smoothly. JMO

Nope. I think there is trouble is paradise and they will split soon. Postponing the wedding is a huge red flag. Ben seems to have some reservations, but if I were Lauren, I would give him an ultimatum or kick him to the curb.

just saw the snap of lauren partying with some bach people on IG. imo, if lauren and ben breaks up, i can see her having a rebound hook up with chase.
