IIRC Rachel laughed at that comment? She didn't make a oh no face, or show in any way she didn't like that comment, she laughed.

IA she can feel whichever way she wants, my point was if she can state her opinion as she see's fit, then so can the contestants. If he was kissing and telling, or dissing the others, IMO that shouldn't be a reason for Rachel to turf him if in fact he was eliminated for that remark IMO.

The comment was not dissing the others, it was dissing her maybe unintentionally. The woman is the sloppy second according to the definition.
She did not laugh at it , she looked down immediately and started laughing when Ellen intervened.

I don't think many people read up urban dictionary before using terms. For me, 'sloppy seconds' and 'leftovers' both mean the same thing - that you are getting something/someone secondhand and neither should be used in reference to a person.

All JMO.

I'm talking about WTA when she was talking to CH and the gang of formers were more than happy to take her left overs.

It's also not the same to laugh at a joke in the abstract about people she doesn't know, and to refer to someone you are actually dating as sloppy seconds. Both might be inappropriate but they're not one and the same IMO. & if some people think it's hypocritical to send him home, so be it. She gets to make the decisions about what she feels (if it bothered her) and people will find a way to be mad regardless so it shouldn't matter to her. All JMO.

Maybe the "sloppy seconds" comment is not what will get him eliminated, if he is possibly the sleeper villain, I guess there could be other reasons why he will get eliminated eventually.

IMHO the way I saw her comment/conversation with Ellen, Rachel was more turned off by how the guy was being so eager to put their business out there in order to "show off" and 'one up' the other guys esp with a tender moment such as a kiss between ppl..if it really was Byran then the manner in which he did it mattered more than the fact it did happen IMO

this being the paraphrased conversation between ellen & Rachel: "I don't need to tell you who was the first kiss he said it" "we don't like that" "personalities coming out"

I think Rachel is into dry, corny and pun/turn of phrase jokes - she is very playful and finds humor in many snarky comments, and imo I don't think she took the phrasing as offensive (she's from the thick skinned family remember?)

I do think she disliked the delivery and the connotation that Bryan was using his moment with her to 'compete and grab attention' next to the guys

I agree it came across very cocky braggy and more about telling the guys he was the one Rachel was talking about. It will be interesting how he comes across on the show.

I wonder how the Ellen date is going to be on the show, do you think they will cut things out or just show the whole Ellen clip ?

I remember during nicks group date for the Backstreet Boys they had to stop the concert just to film different angles.

Jojo was in Toronto recently and they asked her about Rachel and what her advice for her is

She’s gonna be so overwhelmed and so busy, so any chance you get I would tell her to just take that me time whenever you can, decompress and just kind of do your thing.

Fletcher expected Lindsay to feel particularly overwhelmed the first night of filming when she meets the 25 or more men she’s going to be dating.

“That first night when you’re anticipating all those guys getting out of the limo, it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s gonna be so fun,’ but it is overwhelming and it’s really hard to compartmentalize your different relationships.”

It’s also hard to remember anyone’s names.

“I didn’t remember anyone’s name the first night except my favourites,” Fletcher said.

And with filming that first evening lasting about eight hours and so many men to talk to, “You’ll wake up the next morning with a sore throat and half your voice is gone.”

That Ellen video was so cringe to watch. I got second-hand embarrassment from watching. Why would they make these poor guys do that?
