Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #5

If reference is made to other people, others, some people, whatever, be specific or the post will be deleted or edited.

Other people doesn't inlcude me, or it may not include posters here, therefore we need to know exactly who is being referenced.

Because he could be lying. And there's been seemingly weird stuff going on between them for at least a month IMO.

Ben has made a step forward by going back to work full time and not relying on his 15 minutes of Bachelor fame whether it was his decision or Lauren suggesting it. However, I don't see that Lauren has.  She may have moved to Denver, but she never really gave up her lifestyle of constant traveling.  The HEA show did not help them at all. It quite possibly brought things to a head much quicker.  

I saw a lot of potential in them... it would be great if they really could work things out but if they don't, oh well. I surely won't lose sleep over it!

And, I guess they won't be getting that dog now...

I'm not fan of them, individually or as a couple, I simply can't see how Ben should take all the responsiblity. I see many is talking about how Ben didn't treasure Lauren's effort, however, I see a different picture.

IMO, Ben got cold feet because he finally sees through her, especially after she moved in, he got to see how different she is. He may not be able to see a promising future and raising a family together with someone who doesn't want to let go of her party girl lifestyle.

What if she really is a different person behind the scene? This question has always been in my mind and is also the reason why I don't think Ben should be blamed 100%.

A few days ago, unfortunately I do not have a SC of the post. But he did mention that he found it in front of his house and it was starving. He named it Diamond

I think they're just fundamentally a bad match. He needs someone who will think he's the best evah but will bring him back to reality as needed (ledge dragging off). So IMO he doesn't want to marry her because she doesn't satisfy his needs and soothe his raging insecurities. Meanwhile, IDK what lauren needs because she's so surface IMO but perhaps a rich old guy that will bankroll the traveling lifestyle with besties and stay out of her way. IMO.

For the past couple of months, a lot of us have seen some pretty drastic changes in their social media. During the month of January, I don't even think they've spent one full week together. She's gone on four girls trips just this month alone, and Ben was never with her for any of them. They spent Christmas apart and now they're spending her birthday week and her birthday apart. It all just seems fishy and now add that in with the Us Weekly article and now the Radar one where Ben said he couldn't comment on their relationship status right now and something definitely seems off IMO.

That picture doesn't mean much to me because 1. He's posted that same picture now three times and he's simply saying he still loves her, which I don't think anyone doubts. 2. He didn't come out straight and deny it, so technically, he's not lying with that IG post. If he flat out said to Radar, we're happily still together and very committed, then perhaps I would feel a little differently. JMO

This thread has been, to be quite honest a real challenge to keep under control. We do not want to read posts about how happy other couples are in Ben and Lauren's thread.

That quote seems off to me, IMO. Not saying he didn't answer in that way, but it could have been an answer to a different question. News reporters do it all the time.

Articles have been posted since radar posted theirs, and none of the other articles are making references to Ben's comment from Radar. Even the 2nd hand sites who just re post from other sites aren't quoting radar online. I've followed these two pretty closely since last year, and I don't remember ever seeing them do an interview with Radar. Correct me if I'm wrong.'
