The early announcement was definitely for casting IMO. It was one of the first things she said on JK - to apply if someone is interested.

This makes me hopeful that they'll find some really good classy men for her. Fingers crossed! Smiley

When do filming start? How many episodes/weeks is the normal ette schedule? Rachel says they start in 2 weeks. So I guess that is why the announcement is early so the cast would be more diverse also.

If they stick to the normal timeline filming will start a few days after the ATFR airs, so around the 15th-18th of March.

I knew she would be lovely and I can't be prouder of her first statement - she is RACHEL the individual the beauty and the human seeking love....and her being unabashedly herself will be the most radical thing she can do. I hope she makes that point - letting America get to know her as a person - not an exemplary representative of a race but as an individual who others can very much relate to...hopefully helping ppl see that it would be possible to do the same with anyone who has her skin color IMHO I'm already :claphands
