Bachelorette 13 - Rachel Lindsay - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I think the main point of consideration will be R-A-T-I-N-G-S! Not color black, brown, yellow, red or white but G-R-E-E-N!

Rachel would be a terrible lead imo.

I'm begging them to choose Raven

I would like to see a mature lead.

As much as I like Raven, I'm so over the younger bachelorettes and bachelors.

However, given the demographics of the show I don't know what will happen. So far, I see either Raven or Rachel being the Bachelorette.

Well, let's think how great the show could be IF Rachel was the lead:
1) the lead would be polished and mature. Educated and ready to settle down.
2) there would be 30 men all in the age range of 29-40.
3) there would be 30 men all mature, good looking and ready for romance vs fame.
Oooops wrong show, wrong network.
Sorry.

I would be so happy with some freaking romance. With at least a few men that are mature, have an actual career and are ready for a serious commitment. I guess I just don't fit the demo anymore.

Same for me. I'm just tired of the same old thing.
But given BIP is the spin off show they need people within a specific demo.

Still hoping it's Raven. Rachel is forgettable to me all she does is whine. Raven seems to be having fun and is upbeat and positive JMO

Rachel last night reminded me a bit of MeAndi/JPG whining about not being paid attention to.

I don't think Rachel came across as more whiny than anyone else there, IMO. They all were crying and complaining about not getting time with him and not feeling valued. Rachel is just the only one that was shown confronting him about it, but Vanessa and Dani did their fair share of complaining about not getting his attention in ITMs, and I'm sure they both spoke to him about it - it just wasn't shown because of the Jasmine drama. The only one who wasn't shown complaining was Raven. Every episode they seem to show her in a positive light and as someone who has fun with whatever they throw at her. I'll be disappointed if she isn't the Bachelorette - I think she's the best option from this cast.

IMHO I can feel the negativity for Rachel and I sincerely hope she does not do the bachelorette.

Oh, I don't think there's much negativity. If Andi and Kaitlyn can be the lead, she sure can!

Raven lost me with the "I beat my ex over the head with a handy stiletto" story. She just does nothing for me, sorry. I'd rather watch Corinne and her nanny lead a season.
