Curiosity got the best of me, so I had to look up their ages. Kaitlyn is 32 and Shawn is 30. They are still relatively young, however 3 years is a rather long engagement, imho. Maybe they aren't looking to get married or just want a Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russell relationship?

It will be 3 years on May 4th. Their new house is 2 stories and big enough for a family of their own. I don't see the problem with freezing her eggs a lot of women do it.

@Linds911 I think it is smart to freeze her eggs. Help alleviate pressure and let’s them move at their own pace. She and Whitney were good friends, I applaud her for making a mature decision.

I didn’t like these two during the season, but I have watched them off the show for almost three years. I see two people who are honest with each other and support each other in the things important to each of them. Their love is visible and obvious whenever they are together.

Yes, Kaitlyn seems to want marriage, but we haven’t seen Shawn say no or shut it down that I remember. Her talk of marriage is rarely in front of him. Shawn shows her his commitment to her everyday. It reminds me of the movie “He’s just not that into you”. Ben Affleck’s character doesn’t believe in marriage, but is a better partner to Jen then any of her movie sister’s husbands are to them in her time of need. His character eventually proposes because he lives her that much. I think Shawn will get there too.

They will work this out and it is the first time in three years we have seen these two not on the exact same page. For now, I think many women would be lucky to have their husbands to treat them with the love, support and commitment that Shawn gives Kaitlyn. All IMO.

I listened to Kaitlyn's podcast when DeAnna was on. It was pretty interesting. I think I'd heard that her f2 was supposed to be Graham and Jeremy and she confirmed it. She said they made Graham leave but pretty sure he wanted to leave. I wonder if that's what they told her? Kaitlyn talked about her season also and said she wanted to send Nick home f3. I have a feeling that TPTB wanted Nick at f2 for drama and Ben at f3 to be TB. Kaitlyn & DeAnna seemed a lot alike in their experience being lead even though Kaitlyn found her love on the show and DeAnna post-show. They both got in trouble for sneaking out to see the guys.

We know from sleuthing over the years there are some battles the lead can fight for and other's not so much. No one will ever convince me that every lead can make their own decisions without producer influence.

So she had sex twice with her F2 who was suppose to be her F3 and the real F3 slept in a cot while she canoodled with her F1?

I imagine there were a couple of reasons that she wanted Nick as f3 - Shawn's feelings, she knew Nick had been f2 already - and Ben as f2 - he was an easy guy to let down and probably wouldn't be as hurt. All JMO.
