I think it's amusing that Vanessa is wearing a print. One of the alumni gave an interview (forgot who) about packing to go on the show and she said that the info they are given says no prints as they don't show up well on camera

I know a lot has been made of Vanessa talking to Nick in the last episode especially on SM but I have to say I was very impressed with how Nick communicated, both verbally and non-verbally, with Vanessa.

There's no doubt that communication is essential to relationships and IMO, Nick showed that he is an excellent communicator and communicates in a very healthy way. He listens, he doesn't get defensive, and with Vanessa he tells her to keep doing what she's doing and encourages her to come to him and talk to him and most importantly, he validates her by doing so (as best he can in this situation on this type of show, in my opinion).

IMO, it says a lot about the type of partner Nick is in a relationship -- mature, and empathetic, an active listener, and someone who communicates to understand and connect rather than to be correct or to be heard. To say this is rare even in long-term marriages/relationships (let alone with with someone who has only had one date) is an understatement IMO, and it is in part why I think that Nick will make an amazing partner for Vanessa and she will be just as lucky to have Nick choose her.

Agreed GA.  Plus, Jared isn't one I'd listen to or want using me in reference for #goals anyway.  Cause IMO, he's got no idea what a relationship should be like or how to be in a real, functioning one... not that Disney version that Ashley I keeps explaining to him and wanting to drag him into.  #sitdown #hush #goawayJared

^^Great cause that bell does every year. Seems within her personality to care about it. Hopefully some of the many followers that she's gotten as a result of the show chose to participate.

It seems like both Vanessa & Nick have been quiet on SM since Monday, or have I missed something?

Nick was spotted this morning at LAX. A group of girls took a pic with him just past security. They were enroute to Miami so he may be as well.
